slopes, is there any information about schematic, used components etc? I mean complete data to build your system.
I used a DSi induction charger - which comes with a battery and are remarkably cheap (£6)...

Also a power pack (optional) if you want portability. I used a Kensington one I had lying around.
Inside the induction charger base unit is a flat copper coil and a small circuit (40mm sq) with on/off switch, leds and sockets. I carefully removed these and placed them, with the power pack, into a new box the size of a cigarette packet and wired them to work together (ie, the charging power comes from the power pack). I encased the inductive battery inside a suitably sized lighter and wired it to a socket for the 501 atty - using the spring trigger of the lighter for its on/off switch (this was fiddly to do).
Of course, the inductive battery can be placed into any type of mod casing you like. And the charger base can be used straight out of the box as a desktop unit. I thought of buying three to these and placing the three flat coils into one box (which are mostly empty space, sized to match the foot print of the DSi unit) - then you could throw three fancy-looking induction ecigs down on it to be charged at the same time ...nice
