I'm a little scared of it. It gets HOT without even taking a puff. I put a brand new loaded 801 atty on and held it in my hand and could feel it start to heat up by itself. Gets hot enough where you will burn yourself if you don't disconnect the atty. Is this normal? 8-o

Bluesuede, I have to ask you something, now don't get offended please if I am way wrong here, but please tell me that you placed the switch between the passthru and the endcap, you did this right ? Because otherwise you will have an always on connection ok. :)

Otherwise , you might just be experiencing the difference in passthru, it works very well.

Uhm... errr... cough... I remember thinking, shouldn't it have a button? :D

As you can tell from my utter embarassment over my own stupidity, of course I hadn't taken the button section off the bat and connected it to the PT. Good thing there are people here who know what the heck they're doing to save the rest of us from ourselves. :D

Nah, didn't fry any attys. I knew something wasn't right so I took it off. I'm using the EM801. One of my all time favorites. It's the best there is. Put 32 drops :)shock:) into a blank new cart.

Im afraid the Indulgence has spoiled me now. I can see where my other stuff (a LOT of it) will probably go into the "box" for storage. :D

That is scary....there should be clear instructions included with the Indulgence! Not all (especially new) users/vapers come to this forum to check on things...it sounds to me that this could end up with a tragedy due to not having clear instructions included....
EASTMALL PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS Unless good instructions ARE included and just were not read

I am glad you are ok bluesuede

S'okay. I just had a major brain f*rt! It got too hot to vape so anyone, including a novice, would know to disconnect it like I did and then come here to find out more like... errrr... what's wrong. They take good care of us here. Mud is especially good with blondes. :D

I was only writing out of concern! And I seriously doubt that all neewbies would know what to do and/or to come here! It just takes one vaper to get hurt badly and the oponents will have a field day with it!

I never said that EM does not take care of it's customers. I have ordered from them myself. If one can put this e-cig together wrong and it creates a hazard then it needs better directions for people to follow or, if none are included, good directions need to be added.

lol, I did the same thing once with the extended cup, I just screwed the thread cap strait onto the battery cup without the switch section. It was a brand new 801 atty, never been used, I heard a crackle then a POP! grrr.
I was messing around taking photos so I wasnt even thinking.
I did suggest back then it probably would have been a better idea to have male threads both sides of the switch section and female on the caps and cups (and PT) so they cant screw together in the wrong order. But it is no biggy, it will just blow an atty and you will never do it again!

I received my Indulgence today and the passthrough is not working well at all.

While waiting for a battery to charge I tried the passthrough with a 510 atty. Hardly any vapour. The same atty works fine with the 510 passthrough. I am sure my laptop has USB 2.0 ports so what could be the problem?

would you try the passthru plugged into an ac self powered USB Hub,

I also have USB 2 on my puter, but my passthru works much better from a self powered hub.

While I wait for my indulgence delivery, let's get definitive on this. I don't have a computer at home. I do have a cell, so is my 5V 1A Charger good for anything? I ordered the passthrough and the hub thingy. I wish David would sell this ac thingy. I am at a loss without some specificity. Any requirements on this doohicky? VOLTS MAH INPUTS OUTPUTS ATTACHMENTS BRAND NAME SUPPLIER MODEL NUMBER ? Oh, and can you do the same for a walking around power pack ?

ok, lets give this a try ---------

the one on sale in the shop is --

A USB spliter

it is specially made for Eastmall .
It provide 4 ports for using 4 x USB plugs into it,
it plugs into a USB port on your puter.

5V 1A Charger --
I do not know what you are talking about here --
do you mean one for your cell phone ????

this ac thingy ----

I am assuming you mean the AC thingy we talked about before --
the one with the variable voltage slider adjuster ?

as was said in the thread with it, it is available from various places and can be used with the passthru and plugged into the AC outlet in your home.

mobile power pack for USB Passthru --

these are available form various places also,
you can get rechargeable solid built ones,
or battery powered ones - with rechargeable batteries,
I have one or two of each --- they are good for using passthru when out and about, --
put the power pack in your pocket, and vape away on passthru.

solid =
Kensington --
Portable Power Pack for Mobile Devices - K38021US - Kensington

Just Mobile =
Welcome to Just Mobile

I have this one - and you are good to go for all day passthru vaping.

battery powered -
USB Battery Pack

I have this one - and with some AA rechargeables you are good to go for all day passthru vaping.
