I see a new brand name at madvapes but wondered if there was any info abut them. smok Tech? Is this actually a new company or a "renaming/rebranding" marketing gimmick? What is different, better, worse, about them? Anyone tried them yet?

One other thing. Why does madvapes not carry Joye atomizers, kits, etc? Not that I think they're all that, but just curious.

Smok Tech is a fairly new manufacturer with supposedly one of the techs from another popular e-cig manufacturer doing development.

I like thier products and packaging plus they let me set a 12 second cutoff time on the 510 batts instead of 8.

So far all the stuff we've received from them has been top notch!

Sounds good. I hate the short little ~4-5 second cut off on the Bauway eGo batteries I bought. Guess I will have to give the Smok Tech stuff a try. If they have any quality control at all, unlike Joye, they should be great.

How do you set the cut off time? That's not a permanent preset? Any way to change the cut off on the Bauway's I have? I'd kill for even 8 seconds.

As it stands I am loving just about everything I have recieced from Madvapes that is SmokTech. Everything seems to be a very good quality with a very, very good price. Their items (of the few different brands of stuff I have tried) is by far the best to me. I am also speaking for my husband and a close friend since everything I order is for the 3 of us. :vapor:

I'm extremely thankful to Madvapes for hooking me up with smoktech. I initially bought starter kits for friends there, give them something cheap to try. Months later I'm wondering why they still don't need atomizers for their kits. Both of my friends were vaping hard as I was mixing their juice and they were going through a 30ml bottle a week each. I screwed one of their attys to my provari just to see how well it was doin: it was perfect.

So i started buying smoktech cartomizers from Madvapes, and I'm in love with them. I have everything out there from Joyes too boges to SLB too everyone's variations like cisco and iken. Price is right, and they are doing something great by making a name for themselves with quality. Wish Joye still did that, they dont give a .... anymore.

We did a little experiment with Smok Tech eGo batteries after seemingly having a high failure rate with another companies eGo batteries.

Purposely, we ordered 1000 Silver 900mah eGo batteries and 500 Black 900mah eGo batteries.. The batteries were indentical in build and quality except for color..

Out of the 1000 silver eGo batteries(not a common color carried by other resellers), we had 8 returns because of either failures or not charging or whatever other reasons.

On the Black eGo Batteries (with the exact appearance of every other resellers black eGo batteries), we received 78 returns out of 500 batteries for the same reasons as the silver.

I feel the test proved was that the Smok Tech Batteries in general are really solid but that carrying the same product as everyone else leads to something not quite right :)

I bought one of the mega 510 kits and I love the batteries but the atty's are both in the trash. One died after a day and a half and the other had a bad taste that just couldn't be fixed. After seeing the comments here I'm thinking maybe mine were just from a bad batch but it left a bad taste in my mouth (literally) for the brand as far as the atty's go.

The Joye products are made in the same exact factory as the off-brand vaping products. The only difference is that Joye is more expensive because of the name stamped on it saying it is genuine. If madvapes puts $9.00 510 atomizers right next to the $7.00 ones, which ones are going to sell faster?
