Info on rebuildables

Hi,
I'm new here and somewhat new to the vaping world too. I've been vaping a couple of months and I'm curious about rebuildable drippers. I guess my main question is - are they mostly for "home use"?

I like they idea of their small size for stealth vaping on a mechanical mod but I'm kind of turned off by the idea of having to refill the attey everytime I want to vape when I'm out and about. Maybe I'm wrong about that? Ya'll educate me on drippers, please.

Once I went to rda's aka drippers. I never went back to tanks. I love the warm to hot vapes and the density of vape production. Fyi it's all on how you build and wick your coils. I find that if your not satisfied then build it to the way you like it unlike pre-built tanks you're stuck with what you get unless if you know how to re build them too. but I like to sub Ohm (under 1 ohm). it's definitely a learning curve. but if you're willing to behobbyist Vapoer then you will not be disappointed ask lots of questions do lots of research. best of luck to you

Yeah, I'm very much a hobbyist and very mechanically inclined so I'm not to concerned about whether or not I can build the coils. I more concerned about having to carry around a bottle of juice in my pocket to fill the tank every time I want to vape. It's not a problem sitting at home but when I'm away from the house, not so much.

The Genesis-style RBA's need to be kept upright, or they can leak due to their design, therefore they are not an ideal out-and-about delivery device. Rebuildable drippers, if not much juice is in the wick, will not leak if tilted on their side.

The newer Kayfun-style rebuildable tank atomizers offer the best of both worlds. They work similiar to a cartotank system, where they rely on negative pressure to feed the coil/wick. Therefore they do not leak and are not position dependent. I'm new to the Kayfun and couldn't be happier after disappointing experiences with the AGA-T2 genny-style RBA. I take my Kayfun everywhere, just as I do my cartotanks.

I second the Kayfun/Russian as the best of both worlds. The convenience of a tank and the performance of a dripping atomizer. It's not the absolute best at either job, but it's absolutely the best at doing both.

I find that dripping in public isn't all that concerning like most people would think it is. I typically drip enough to get me through the hits I take then I want my RDA to be dry since its going to be in my pocket. Also there are more attractive dripper bottles you can use and get that isn't a PE see through bottle that when people see make you look weird. Take a look at an Innokin Ucan bottle. Its SS and it looks more like a medical bottle than anything. Its sealed with the cap on (which prevents your juice from leaking in your pocket).

There are many fine rba tank systems out there, even dripper tank systems. Dripping to me ia a pain, especially with 3 cats. Me needs tanks. Full SS tanks.

I have a few tank style clearomizers (mini protank & protank 2).
Performance wise, I love the mini protank on every device I've put it on so far (vision spinner, vamo v5 & Nzonic). I really dislike the protank 2 though. It has such poor air flow on just about everything. I've even drilled out the airflow holes to 1/16". It works ok on the vamo but has NO airflow on the Nzonic.. I mean none! Can't use it at all. I'm considering either a kayfun style rda or the aerotank for the Nzonic mod. I want something small which the aerotank really isn't and I hate the way the mini protank looks on the mod.

In short get a kayfun/ Russian 91% that's seems like the best conclusion the way I look at it if your cloud chaser go with an RDA if you're a flavor chaser go with a kayfun style. rda's are good for flavor too but make sure that you have one with the reduced chamber and variable air control

I'm both. There are times when I want to play with clouds, but there are times where I just want to sit back and enjoy yummy flavours haha

Here's the breakdown Kayfun Style are good on flavor but not for cloud chasing but really good for taking out without worrying about leaking Genesis style you could cloud chase and its a tank but it leaks if not right at all times.
But f.y.i rda's to me is satisfying enough all I need is a few hits so I just drip a little and I'm done put it away the only time I find dripping annoying is when I'm driving that's when I wish I had a kayfun but I just use my Genesis because I'm pretty good at keeping it up right. I just love them clouds too much lol.

A REO, or similar, is an "out and about," "one handed dripping" device, best of both worlds for those who may like KF's, but still prefer dripping.

That depends on if you will use cotton or silica. Cotton you can just remove cotton and replace after a quick dry burn. With silica u can rinse it under hot water and dry burn and your coil will be as good as new (about a month with silica). You can make the coils last as long as there is no flavor transfer in silica. Cotton your coils can last months on end. Coils will last longer the lower gage you use

Alright.... so I went with the aerotank.

I dunno call me weird.. I'm still not completely sold on the rebuildables for "on-the-go" every day use.

I really like the aerotank on the Nzonic so far. Love the adjustable airflow! It's gonna need a kick though.

That's okay. To each his own. Someday you'll meet a friend that is on rebuildables and you can try it for your self. I for one can no longer do pre built tanks. If I'm not satisfied I'm stuck with it. Rebuildables you build it to the way you want. And I love .3 to .4 builds. That makes clouds like no pre built can handle or wick fast enough with out dry hits.
