Hey ECF,

I'm a new member and relatively new to ecigs. I tried an unknown pen type a month or two ago that someone forgot at my cousin's. I thought it was neat but was disappointed, clearly from it already having been used by my cousin and the mystery owner and likely low on fluid. Last Monday a friend of mine bought a Puresmoke and I liked it so much I spent all Tuesday after work reading here and ordered a 510 (manual battery) starter kit along with three 10ml bottles of fluid.

To talk about myself just a bit more, for the past couple years I've smoked American Spirit organic lights exclusively - about two packs a week. I also use up to 1 tin of peach skoal each week at work

Tomorrow I'm going out of town. Hopefully my PV comes in the mail before I leave. I'll be travelling in an RV so I'll have electric hookup. My question is: how long do I need to charge a battery before use? If it does indeed come in time I'm going to try not to bring cigarettes. When I go racing I usually smoke a pack a day. I'll be a bit anxious to try it, both between anticipation of my new toy and my nicotine habit. I've read some conflicting information, ranging from 60 minutes to 4 hours. I don't want to compromise the lifespan of the battery, but since I do have two it's easy to remember that they aren't expensive.

Thoughts? :vapor:

For more fun useless information:
18mg Cotton Candy, Pineapple, 555, JOYE510 starter kit - ordered from rockymountainvapor.com

Thanks, HexKrak. I do like the sound of that :p

I was just reading that JOYE suggests 8 hours. I'll likely have to be ordering more fluid when I return Sunday night, if I end up charging only 2 hours on my first battery I'll probably get one with my order. Maybe go two-tone

Have you or anyone else tried this practice of poor patience?

TBH my first 510 batt I vapped the initial charge right out immediately, and it lasted me about 7 months with no distinguishable difference from the 2nd battery that I charged overnight,.
