The CoolFire 1 is set to a fixed 8.5 watts, very different from volts...:) For vapers it's easiest to think of watts as the heat produced by your particular tank or topper. It's determined by the combination of how many volts from the battery and how many ohms from the topper, via a formula...P = E squared / R

The CoolFire 1 and Klanger AeroTank combination should work just fine.

With your CoolFire 1 what will happen is whatever resistance tank or topper (AeroTank included) you use, it will adjust the voltage automatically to produce 8.5 watts. This is a middle ground heat level for most vapers, some might find it too cool or too hot, personal preference.

If you do find it too hot, easiest to do is pulse the fire button on and off while taking a puff...too cool, hold the button for a second or two before drawing to per-heat the coil.

Happy vaping....:vapor:
