Got the red one in the mail today. No adjustable or spring loaded 510. Kanger Mini does not sit flush nor the Zephyrus Tank. Actually not a single one of my tanks or RDAs sit flush on this thing. Resistence also seems to jump all over the place. I would also like to mention that one of the Youtube reviews (todd ecigreviews) said he contacted the manufacturer and they said his unit was pre-production and that the button rattle would not be in the production units. Mine rattles like a snake. All around not a great purchase from my point of view.
Meant to be a spring loaded 510 pin, maybe yours is stuck down, try pushing it down with a screwdriver and see if it moves at all.
I really like the look of this mod, but being a built in 2000mah battery puts me off though, but if the price comes down even more than it already is, then might get a blue one.

It sounds to me like you have some kind of defect there. So far the tanks I have sit flush and the pin floats a lot. I had an Igo-l on it and had to unscrew it 3/4 of a turn to put the air hole on top and it kept great contact.

I have to believe that development, testing, packaging, marketing... has GOT to cost these companies a pretty penny.
So, they can't go the extra step, and make sure that there's a spring loaded pin (I don't even want to see an adjustable pin... I don't want to have to get out one of those silly blue screwdrivers and *adjust* the 510 pin, every time I change tanks) in every new device they release?!?
Sorry for the rant, but seriously... some of these companies, with their short thinking blows my mind!
There aren't THAT many "must haves" in my mind, for these devices. Some people want a removable battery, some (myself included) prefer a device that has the battery built in. Some people want a gazillion watts, others are more then happy with 30=40 watts....
Just give us a FLOATING 510 PIN, and BUTTONS THAT DON'T RATTLE.
You know, I have a few attys that don't do well with a spring loaded pin, so yep, I have some mods with a reverse adjustable pin.
However, sounds like the OP's is stuck or defective.

I'm awaiting my Coolfire IV right now... it's somewhere between L.A. and GA... God only knows how long the USPS will take to get it here.

Yeah, it all looks good on paper....that's What I love about ECF , the unbiased criticism of gear ....we all want that perfect vape and the masters of marketing make it appear as a must have. I've spent thousands over the past 5 years on vape gear and juice, a few months ago I went back to my Sigelei Zs and carto tanks , and a 15$ kbox with a 1$ stildare rda .........and juice

Actually, I wasn't talking specifically about this device. I do believe that I heard the new Kanger Subox device doesn't have a floating pin, and there have certainly been other devices without one.
Glad to hear this one has one. Just saying that I doubt it would add that much cost to devices, to include a floating pin, so I'm surprised when new devices are released without one.
I do like the look of this device! Seems like it also has nice, durable finish, but I guess time will tell.

I rather have a little gap. When I use my Kayfuns on the MVP I always get condesation over the top of it when I take it off. Doesn't happen with my Provari because it has a little room to breathe I suppose.
I have that exact problem with my kayfuns on my iStick30's, but never on my Sigelei Zmax, which is infamous for its tall 510 connector -- turns out maybe there's a good reason for it?
Every morning when I take my kayfun off my iStick30 so I can charge the iStick, the bottom of the kayfun and top of the iStick are just *swimming* in ejuice -- that never happened with any other mods and my kayfuns. My Vamo has a little gap too -- now I understand why!Andria
Damn' I LOVE this little box... the ProVari is been resting ever since I got the CF 4. This box is just amazin, great battery life , amazing vape when used with the Subtank in vW mode. There is nothing bad I could say about this just that I kick myself for not ordering 2 because wife will take mine soon.

Tested one out last weekend. It's nice and I'll probably end up with one. But went for the 50w istick based on its combination of still being small and having double the capacity of the coolfire or the 30w isticks.
I love this thing. I have that little itty-bitty gap with my subtanks. I'm ocd with stuff like that usually so I would think it'd drive me crazy, but I really don't mind or really notice. It reads resistance accurately, I have no issues with it. In fact I plan on getting the green or gold, whichever one comes next.
