► IP68: water and dust resistance:
For Innokine it is essential to make the user experience increasingly rewarding, so Coolfire PZPulse Pod Mod Kit stands out as a modern all-in-one vaporizer, and for a series of technical aspects of considerable interest; such as the IP68 certification, new cartridge with convenient top filling, practical airflow adjustment system, quick lock button, and much more. The kit with its IP68 specifications guarantees resistance to shock, dust and water, as I said it is an all-in-one device, with elegant lines, the form factor is ergonomic and compact, it is also solid and light to hold in your hand, all this makes it an ideal and durable companion for the most sporty and dynamic vapers.

    ► Manual lock switch:
The Coolfire PZPuls is available in various attractive colors and Innokin sent me the "Black and Blue Green" versions for this Test. The image below shows the slender appearance of the device with the classic but always elegant cushion on the handle to increase the degree of comfort. The similarity with some Geekvape devices is evident, in particular for the presence of the frame screwed to the chassis, however our Coolfire stands out thanks to the design of the modern cartridge that visually recalls an RDTA system. On the side there is a sliding button that allows you to disable the device very quickly. This button is very practical when you are on the move, and avoids having to repeatedly press the power button to turn off the mod.

    ► Control Panel:
On the front of the Coolfire PZPulse there are the adjustment buttons that are raised, so they are easily identifiable by the fingers, at the top there is the Fire button and under the screen there are the small "+ and -" buttons. While at the bottom there is the Type-C 5V-2A charging port. The color screen guarantees high brightness, even in full light, so reading the information is easy. On the display you will find the classic information regarding the selected power level, the graphic indicator (lock) of lock/unlock, battery percentage, shot count, resistance ohms, output voltage.
In addition, a colored bar at the top of the display shows the battery level as follows:
    • Red Bar: The battery level is 10% or less
    • Yellow Bar: The battery level is between 10 and 30%
    • Green Bar: The battery level is between 30 and 100%

► Operation Guide and Safety Features:
With the side button unlocked and using the "+" and "-" buttons, you can adjust the power from 6 to 80W. Between 6 and 20W you can adjust the power with steps of 0.5W at a time and this is really interesting for a possible MTL use of the device with the 0.6Ω PzP coil (optional). The adjustment between 20 and 80W continues quickly with steps of 1W at a time. By pressing "+ and -" at the same time, you can enter the secondary menu and adjust the screen time-out between 5 and 180s, you can also adjust the cut-off between 3 and 18s. By pressing the Fire button and the "+" button at the same time, you can view the information regarding the current resistance ohm, the puff count with the option to reset and return to the main interface. The device is also equipped with a series of safety features, including; overcharge protection, short circuit protection and low voltage protection. These safety measures not only protect but also provide peace of mind to users, allowing them to focus on enjoying their vaping experience without worries.

    ► Built-in 2400mAh battery:
The generous size of the mod's foot ensures excellent stability of the device, the rubberized coating increases the grip and dampens the noise when it comes into contact with surfaces. On the bottom you can also find the indications of the internal battery characteristics. With its 2,400mAh this battery allows for good autonomy with not too high selected power levels. You can also try a more intense use but of course the duration and the number of puffs will be lower. The device supports fast charging via USB-C, allowing users to quickly recharge and return to vaping in a short time. This feature is particularly useful for those who have a hectic lifestyle and need a reliable device that keeps up with their needs.

    ► High-performance cartridge:
The upper part of the device perfectly follows the bottom of the cartridge and a metal ring ensures a strong magnetic attraction keeping the components firmly together.

    Innokin Coolfire PzPulse Kit 16.jpg

Coolfire PZPulse uses an innovative pod system, characterized by a high e-liquid capacity of 5.5 ml, this significantly reduces the frequency of recharging, allowing users to enjoy long vaping sessions. The transparent pod allows for easy visual control of the internal e-liquid level, furthermore this cartridge is designed for easy filling from the top, this minimizes inconveniences and ensures a pleasant and hassle-free vaping experience. I find the original cylindrical Drip Tip perfect in shape and size, however it can be replaced. The airflow regulation system is integrated into the top of the cartridge and the opposing slots ensure a large air passage for the RDL-DL configuration, the regulation is really simple, just rotate and you will get the desired airflow, even MTL by closing the slots. The coil is inserted from the bottom with a light pressure. Ultimately this cartridge is a masterpiece, I really wish all the cartridges of the various pods on the market adopted a cartridge like this!

    ► PZP Max Coils:
The PZPulse uses Innokin’s advanced PzP Max coil technology, offering a selection of 3 different coils that cater to different vaping styles, from MTL (0.6Ω) to RDL and DL inhalation. This adaptability makes the Coolfire PZPulse an excellent choice for vapers who want to explore and experiment with different vaping techniques. You will receive 0.4Ω and 0.2Ω coils with the device, and you can purchase 0.6Ω PzP coils as replacements in packs of two coils each.

► Innokin Coolfire PzPulse; Vaping Test Final Conclusions:

    • PZP Max Coil 0.2Ω:

This coil has a range of use between 60 and 80W and guarantees a quantity of dense clouds really abundant. It gives a remarkably good concentrated flavor to your fruity e-liquids.

    • PZP Max Coil 0.4Ω:
This coil has a range of use between 40 and 60W, and compared to the previous one it allows a higher battery life especially when used at 40W. The performance at 40W is perfect for a flavor-loaded RDL use. You can restrict the airflow and get more heat and throat hit, but you can also open the airflow completely and go up with the power, in this way you will get closer to DL vaping with performance comparable to the previous PZP Max Coil 0.2Ω.

    • PZP Max Coil 0.6Ω:
This resistance has a range of use between 18 and 23W, it can be purchased separately in packs of 2 coils. I find it perfectly suitable for aggressive and satisfying MTL vaping, especially with creamy or fruity e-liquids. This coil guarantees prolonged use without frequent recharging, and is perfectly in tune with the capacity of the 2,400mAh battery and the capacity of the 5.5ml cartridge.

The battery performance is good, and is comparable to that of a normal 18650 battery. This allows for prolonged use without frequent recharging especially with the 0.6Ω coils, and if you are not compulsive you will get a decent autonomy even with the 0.4Ω coils. The speech is different if you will often use the 0.2Ω coil, because you will be forced to recharge the device soon, fortunately the recharging time is quite fast. Overall the Coolfire PzPulse Pod is a really well made kit, it is beautiful and easy to handle, simple to use, it offers high performance together with unique robustness and reliability. Well done Innokin!

    • I thank Innokin for sending me these samples for the review.

    Somewhere between here and there
Thanks for the great review. But again, the device is disposable and useless. It's a shame that all manufacturers have idiots in their marketing departments.
It seems like 3/4 of the stuff coming out these days is either disposable or pod based like this one. At least it has interchangeable coils. I would be surprised if innokin didn’t come out with an 18650 version of this one.
