Good morning Ecig Forums... I hope I find you all well?? Greetings... Peter from Oxford in the UK.

I joined as I am having problems which I attempt to explain below... I wondered if any of the technically adept members could help me find a solution as I have reached a dead end....

I bought an Itaste 134 Mini a couple of months ago and I am very pleased with the unit overall, however, when trying to purchase some 18500 batteries I have come up against a problem which is confusing me… I wonder if you can help me solve it?

I bought 2No Efest 1100mAh IMR18500 3.7V Li-Mn batteries. V1. (Red).High drain rechargeable battery. (Photo 1 attached).

Unfortunately I can’t seem to get them to work. This is where the confusion begins.

If I install the longer tube and insert the battery with the same polarity as the smaller Trustfire 18350 batteries that came with it, (with + on the top), I get nothing… no lights.. no sign of life at all. However, if I insert the battery upside down, (with the – up) the lights go through the red/yellow/green start up cycle, but when I press the button to vape I get the flashing red fault light, as if the voltage wheel is not in place…. This is confusing me…

So I took the batteries to my father’s house and put them on a battery tester and the tester shows them as outputting at 3.7V with the correct polarity….. Why would it work upside down but test correct polarity on a tester??

I’ve purchased another set of batteries now, (Photo 2 attached)… And I seem to have the same problem with these, except when I turn them upside down I still get nothing... I have just fully charged these so know that is not the problem..…. This shouldn’t be this difficult surely!!

Have I bought the wrong batteries?? If yes, can you let me know which ones I need please?? Is this a problem with the longer extension tube??

I should point out that the small Trustfire batteries I got with it are 1200mAh and the new ones are only 1100mAh…. Is this the problem??

Any help/information you can offer would be appreciated?!

Yours expectantly.... Peter.

I'm having the same exact issues. The only thing is, my buddy got me the exact same battery a few months ago, and it works just fine. When I put in the new 18500 battery, it gives me that error. And now my older battery does not work :( I tried all 3 of my 18500 batteries in his 134 vape, and they all work just fine in his. Has anyone figured out what's wrong? I've contacted Innokin, but no response yet.
