Innokin iTaste 134 Mini...is it worth it? (NEWBIE)

Hey guys! My name's Jordan. I'm 21 and I've been vaping for about a month now.

My first device, and my only one (thus far) is the Innokin iTaste MVP V2. After seeing several reviews (IndoorSmokers, GrimmGreen, and my old high school drama teacher, even!), I decided to pick this up as my first device.

It's given me a great month of solid vaping. I replaced my tank with an Aspire Nautilus, and will be ordering 5 bottom vertical coils for it within the next two months (or whenever both the 1.8ohm and 1.6ohm coils expire themselves).

So, I'm looking into a device that will not only perform well, but will also look awesome with my beast Nautilus sitting on top of it. I see the price, for a brand new iTaste 134 (with batteries), runs anywhere from $130 to $160.

My question to you all is...IS THIS DEVICE WORTH IT?

Now, mind you, I love my little MVP V2, but it's just not something I can really carry around with me everywhere.

Thanks for any responses!

nope.... have you looked into the Itaste SVD yet? if not, take a look, I luv mine, Ive abused it and its still going strong at nearly a year old... ( and it only cost 40$)

Where did you get it for $40? I've seen it at $99+, that's about it. And that's without a battery and charger. I have seen it!

FastTech: SVD[/URL]

I refuse, with every bit of my being, to order from FastTech ever again. I got horrible shipping times, horrible customer service, and on top of that, after waiting a month, I was sent the wrong product. I'd much rather spend a little extra to get the correct item, less than 3.5 weeks shipping, etc. I had a bad feeling there was going to be a FastTech link somewhere in this thread...

I have an 134 Mini to go with its 134 Big Brother. If you like the styling I say go for it! Mine was just as pocketable as my Provari Mini and gives a good vape. The 134 Mini has a floating pin and comes with the pretty decent iClear I.X clearomizer. I wild look around as you should be able to get one for around $100.

Thanks! Yeah, I've been looking on eBay. I wouldn't mind getting a used device if it's from a reputable seller, honestly. So long as it isn't scratched all to Hades, and functions properly!

I don't think it's the best choice at the price point. I got an Itaste 134 last year paid 150 bucks today I can't give it away:( I got a Provari for around 150 sold it easily for 130 months later. Vaping is a journey what you want and like today mite change pretty quickly so all ways try to consider resale in you vaping equation :)

I have ordered from Fasttech several times and as far as slow shipping... thats the USPS fault. Fasttech filled and shipped all of my orders within 36 hours or less, normally takes 2-3 days to hit the US coast, .... then the wait begins... the parcel gets sent to the Customs Div. where it sits for a week or more and then they inspect it, and then it gets back into the USPS system where it floats around for another 3-6 days trying to find its way to the mailbox...

I can understand paying a "little" more but 3 times as much??? Id rather wait a "little" longer for 1/3 the price :)

I was talking only about the iTaste 134. The prices everyone else has mentioned is concerning the SVD (which I'm researching). :p

PS: I've reached the 5 post quota, and I am still unable to post in other forums or private message anyone for additional information...any reason why this is so? Thanks!

When I look at FastTech prices they're only fractionally lower than what I pay from UK internet suppliers, and I get the benefit of our consumer protection laws. So I wouldn't consider ordering from overseas.

For a mod collector the 134 and mini are essential showpieces. A practical vaper, IMHO, would do better to wait for the SVD2 due this month.

Gotcha. I'm probably right in the middle of a "practical vaper" and a "collector". Of course, since I'm new on the scene, my collection is tiny (almost non-existent, even), but I do want something that looks great, especially since I'm trying to keep a friend of mine off those cigs, as he recently made the conversion to vaping along with me ;)

I have the 134 mini. I got it when it first came out and have been happy with it. It is a solid device. I work in an industrial maintenance environment and that thing can take a beating. It looks awesome and performs just great. Biggest downfall is battery life. With 18350/500 it only lasts me 6-8 hours on the 18500. I am a heavy vaper and never put it down but you will be limited by the batteries. That being said I think you may not really care for it after you realize that your MVP has twice the battery length and more functions. I do not have an SVD so I can not speak on that but they do get good reviews. You need to do what makes you happy. Do your research and ensure that if you buy it is what you really want and you will be just fine.

You already have the MVP which is the best of that entire lot. The 134 is a novelty vape and overpriced in my opinion and the SVD, while brilliantly indestructible and capable of higher wattages, does not produce the clean signal of the MVP.

I would wait for the SVD 2 or look at something like the ipv2s, if you want an upgrade.

I won a 134 at a vape meet. It's OK, does what it's suppose to do. My one functional complaint is that it sure would be nice to be able to see the numbers on the wattage ring.

Kind of an 'in your face' design. Which I guess is OK if you're into that sort of thing, but I don't think I would buy one when a Provari is only $30 more.

I have the 134 mini, along with the SVD, MVP2 and the VV. I like them all and they all have their place. The MVP2 can't be beat when it comes to battery life, the 134 mini is a straight- in your face awesome design, solid piece and works like a champ but is VW only. The SVD has more battery choices and can be fine tuned via VV or VW. Using the right tanks ( Aspire Nautilus, Aerotank Mega and V2 are my favs) you can't go wrong.
