If it is a false rumor and damages sales - it is most certainly malicious.

OK, RPad, you win. I am leaving this thread, I have repeatedly said that there is NOTHING in the works, and as I have said, I have my contacts. You guys will go on and on spreading false rumors. So enjoy your conspiracy theories, I am out. Bye.

I'm not trying to "win" anything and I'm not spreading "false rumors." Mr. Xia at innokin told me that skirted threading is in the works and an ohm meter will be in a future model. Of course you can believe what you like. I'm just relaying what I was told from the company.

I could not get any ego threaded devices to work. I wish I had ordered a 510 to ego adapter with this, but I am waiting on some to come for this and my new provari i got friday. I fell in love with kanger t3's and was hoping to use them on the mvp. USPS says the adapters should be in tomorrow. I have gotten a couple stardust devices to work that fit between the skirt and the 510 connection. But they do not have threading on the outside edge.

My problem with my Innokin MVP:

I was looking for an apv model specific sub forum to post this in, but this will work. I have had my mvp for a few days, happened to get it at the same time as my first provari which has been getting the most use. I had the mvp in my pocket all day and took it out and noticed the vanity skirt or whatever you call it was loose. I tightened it, and then it became looser when I thought it was done. Like an idiot I kept tightening until I looked at the base and it was sticking about a centimeter give or take above where it originally sat. I am not sure if it was all my stupidity that did this, or why when tightening down the skirt that tightening when thinking it was loose raised the connection from where it should be. I freaked out. Tested it, still fired. I was going to ask for advice on how to fix it on here, but I just tapped it down as far as I could get it. Still works fine. Just hoping it does not crap out on me due to me being an idiot and whatever allowed me to over tighten it in the first place. Hope this makes some semblance of sense when you read it.

iVape.net had them a few hours ago, with a discount (read the description on the site to get the code).... $55.00 with code. Almost ordered one. Might still do.

https://ivape.net/index.php/iTaste-MVP-VV-Box-Black.html

They only have the black units from according to the link. The one i have is showing every scratch(leanning against anything),even from setting it down against something that rubs against it leaves marks.I have started to just set mine down upright,or lay it down on a soft surface.

I may have missed it but does anyone know about how long it takes for the MVP to charge from absolute dead?

I am not sure about absolute dead but mine ran for 3 days still on green before i charged it.I am also using using the on/off feature in between 4-5 drags(mostly at 4-4.3 volts on the clearos) to conserve battery power.I am also a heavy vapor still,at 3 days and it is still in the green is still impressive.

It does look like an impressive rig....I couldn't imagine going without having to charge a batt for 3 days, lol.
I'm using the eGo Twist now-have to wait 'till payday to get the MVP. I would like to get 2 of them, charge 'em both and run one down to dead before I charge it just to see how long it takes to charge it from absolute cold. I suspect a lot of people who are getting the MVP are charging when the indicator light gets to yellow, so it is never fully dead when they go to charge it.

You will love the MVP, had mine for three weeks now, you do not need to run the MVP down before you charge it, the type of batteries in it, has no memory effect, so you can charge it when you want, absolutely no need to run it totally down like you would with other types of batteries.

For me if you let it run all the way down, it takes 3-4 hours to fully charge, you will know when it is fully charged the green light will go out.

I only run it down on purpose once, then did some research about the batteries, now I put it on charge overnight every second night or so, if it has needed a charge during the day, I just use a longer mini USB cable and use it as a pass-through on my laptop, then take it of once it had fully charged.

Like you I was going to get two, thinking the same as you, but once I did my research on the batteries in the MVP found that you only need one, unless of course you just want them in different colours, to match your various attys or based on your mood etc.

Thanks

Hi

I've had mine for a week now, & I love it. Superb battery life & great design. I'm a fairly heavy vaper, & it lasted 2 full days with an ipod charge during that time. Fantastic! I always think "what would I redesign if I made it to make it perfect", & came up with the following:

1) An ohm reader instead of the relatively pointless puff counter
2) The button on the top or side of the device - would make it slightly more comfortable
3) A recessed 510 fitting with an eGo adaptor in the kit, instead of an eGo fitting with a plinth. Tanks would fit better & add a shorter overall length to the device.
4) Perhaps sacrifice a little battery size & make the device a bit smaller. It doesn't quite fit comfortably in your hand.
5) A rubberised coating to aid grip.
6) I kinda wish it didn't have the "Taste it. Love it" logo on the back. A bit cheesy!
7) If they are staying with the eGo thread, use one that fits my Kanger T2.

These are just personal preferences though, & I don't want anyone to be put off by negativity because all that aside, it is nigh on perfect. A great device with relatively few flaws. Definitely the best PV I have ever had. I have owned an eGo, Lavatube, iTaste VV, Gripper VV. This is better than all of them.

Highly recommended.

Mark :p
