There's a co-op getting ready to start for the MVP which I intend to get in on. But, first I have a couple of questions.

First, I wonder if anyone here got the Blue Steel color. If so, is there any blue to it at all? It looks just plain gray in the pictures.

Second, now that ya'll have had these a while, how do you like the clearomizers that come with the MVP?

Thanks in advance.

When you see it, it looks blue. I worried about that too. It's not a bright blue, more of a steel blue.

Clearomizers that come with it leave a little to be desired, but I don't care for clearomizers all that much so I'm not a good person to ask.

The 3 click lights don't work when plugged in. So you just have to press three times, wait a sec and then it should fire. You could also check the screen but it can be a little funky when charging.

I have actually had it plugged in, with my phone then plugged into it charging and vaping at the same time.

I might have been drunk when I tried the above.

Here's the scoop. It seems like 3 click doesn't work in pass through mode so it's either on or off, this is determined by whether it was on or off when you plug it in.

Also, I have vaped it on yellow for a while and plugged it in, it goes right to green and I can continue to vape. I think there is only green and red when charging.

It looks rather nice actually. It's a sort of metallic grayish blue but definitely blue.

I think the clearos are good for clearos. They put out a ton of vapor, probably due to being dual coil, and the heads seem to last a bit. I ordered replacements but haven't used them.

Darn, I was hoping the Blue Steel was ugly so I wouldn't have a decision to make between it and the Black. But, thanks for letting me know just the same.

The clearomizers do sound interesting. If nothing else, they sound like a curiosity. Dual coil clearomizers. I've never seen any before. Or, have I been under a rock and missed something?

Once the MVP learns to turn right and Magnum comes out...

The only dual coil clearos I know of.

The clearos are also the only 4 long wick ones I've seen so far
Keeps the coils good and damp

I bought an mvp for my son for christmas. He loved it and the cleros but after 2 charges it quit working all together. I have looked at it and tried several different other tanks and cleros and it just won't hit. Charged till lights out and nothing. I checked the batt post and it is making contact. I'm hopeful the vendor will honor a warranty as i bought it 11/27 and gave it to him a few days before christmas. Tao, we didn't have your prob. Just quit. Help anybody!!\
so i got my mvp a week ago monday, first charge lasted over 1300 puffs. Second charge only lasted about 1000 and the third was less than that. Today it seemed to go from yellow to red rather quickly, then upon turning red died soon thereafter. When i plugged it in to charge, it went red...yellow...green in a matter of 5 minutes, i know the batt is almost dead, but the light turned back green quickly  The third charge (went from just barely red) to fully charged in probably 2 or 3 hours. Seems like it should take a lot longer.

What have others' experiences been with the charge on these things?

Is my battery crapping out on me already? Am i charging this wrong (usb port on my computer)?

One complaint I have that other than the clearos that come with it the only other carto / clearo I've been able to get vapor out of is the Vision ViVi Nova
Many others thread on but won't produce vapor

I guess they need to make and adaptor or maybe version 2.0 will accomodate other clearo / cartos
But 2.0 won't help the early adopters

I haven't had to use an adapter for anything besides T2's and T3's. All my 510 stuff has worked fine.

Same as my son. He has used vivi's and vapage crystals with no problem at all. I am hopeful vendor will replace because it is a good fit for him. I think he just got a dud. It happens, buy it as many others love them. I will order the version 2. LOL

I hope all of you have better luck with this than I did. Bought one from Gotvapes when they first started selling them. I can't charge it anymore because the charging connector came off inside the unit. I want to try and open it up to see if I can fix it, but I need to find a star head that will fit the screws on the unit.
Electronicstix has a lot of warnings about that being the Achilles heel of the unit and it's unfixable. I've had mine for a few weeks and I ease the charger on and off sooooooo slowly.

Other things I don't like:
I wish the puff counter didn't reset when the unit is turned off. I constantly turn mine off by accident. It's very easy to push the button 3 times when I'm groping around for it. And I'd love to know just how much I vape because it's obviously a ton -- the battery lasts 36 hours if I'm not vaping the MVP exclusively. (That's when I'm home full-time. If I'm out and about, I do vape a more normal amount.)

The weight. I love the large battery so the weight is necessary. If I were a car person and could just toss it on the seat next to me, it would be fine, but I'm a pedestrian so I mostly take a lighter PV with me when I'm out.

The good:
It vapes like a dream.

It's very well sealed. I missed the top of my Vivi Nova when refilling it the other day and poured some down the side. It welled up inside the collar and none ended up on the MVP itself.

The collar. It's not just a beauty thing. If you use a tank, you have a heavy tank on top; a heavy MVP on bottom; and a skinny little thing between them. It's a weak point and, if you drop it, that's where it's going to come apart. The collar works like a neck brace, giving a little extra support where needed.

I got mine in the Health Cabin co-op. You can actually get it almost as cheap here right now but I'm not interested in the cartos so it was nice to be able to buy it piecemeal. With the 20% discount it was $45.50 for the body, collar and charger.

My only issues with the MVP are the flimsy micro USB charging port and the fact that you cannot lock the voltage setting. I haven't heard a single person complain about it though.

For those that already have the MVP, do you have any problems accidentally changing the voltage while you're vaping? I just imagine your hand would accidentally touch the up and down buttons every once in a while.

No problem with accidentally changing the voltage. The buttons are on the small side and require a little bit of pressure to hit.Once hit they display the puff count for about 2-3 seconds before you can change voltage(and you have to depress either the +/- button again to change).I do not think this would be a concern for this unit.
