Innokin MVP 30W help!

I recently bought the 30W and generally I've been very satisfied with the purchase. However, recently it has occasionally turned off on me while I'm firing and it won't turn back on unless I connect it to a power source for a second or two. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks!

Maybe a short?
My MVP 20 watt turns off for a few seconds if it shorts.

• Just curious,does it vape while charging and stay firing?

Hi I'm no expert in ecigs, and I'm new to vaping, but I am good with eletronics, it sounds to me that there is a problem with the chip, I also read that other guys having the same problem, not only with Innokins products but with others also using the same chip. however, it is supposed to do that if you short it, so if you are sure you didn't do that, I think there is no way to fix it, all you can do is to wait for a new firmware. you could also ask innokin.

Im pretty sure thats how the protection works it shuts downs then you plug it into charger to reset. I have a mvp 20w if i push it maxed watts for to long it will shut down then i plug it in and it resets. What are you running it at?

Dash007: Yes, I haven't had the same problem while vaping and charging at the same time, although I do generally vape on the go.

jrlakeman: I usually have it around 20-22 W.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what do you guys mean by shorting? I don't think I put too much stress on the device if that's what you mean. I vape in the low 20's, don't chain vape, and I usually hold the firing button for a few seconds or so
