Thank you both for your input!
Did you say you put your EVOD on your MVP2 and it works even better? I think I will go down and pick up an MVP2 tomorrow, if I can find the time to get to my vape shop.

Yes, I have quite a few of the Evod tanks that I used with my Spinners. I use all of them on the MVP also. I still like to take the Spinner with me when I'm going on errands in the car. It's so handy to just put it in my pocket. By using the Evods on both devices, I don't have to worry about having separate tanks for the Spinners and the MVP.

And I got a free Iclear 30 with my MVP and haven't used it. I did some more research on the Iclear 30.

First, it costs about $13, and if I like the free one, I will probably want to buy more. Pretty pricey for my budget.

And second, the head for the Iclear 30 costs $3 for only one. I think I will stick with the Evods. I have a whole bunch of them. They work well and only cost $5 if I want more. And the heads for the Evod are about $1 each, compared to $3 for the Iclear.

My MVP 2 come with two 16 tanks, When I first fired it up, it was great. I cleaned the tank because I didn't like the juice I used in it, and wanted to rid the smell of it. When I loaded it up with new juice it had a bit of a burnt taste to it after.

Some hits were ok and some were not. No idea what happened. I have 2 mini protanks I use now and a Nautilus Aspire adjustable airflow. I still have one brand new 16 to use. I might throw out the other 16. They are only $6 new anyways.

I just tried the 16 I had the problem with again and it is terrible. Looks like I might have to toss it out.

I have mine at 7w. You can play with volts later. Press and hold the P button to cycle through the settings. First the puff count will appear and then a watt setting. Click again to advance to the next. After you pick a number, don't touch the U button or you will change to volts. If 6 or 7 is good try 7.5 then 8.0 and so on until it starts tasting burnt. Go too far and you will get the burnt taste forever on that coil.

Is it safe to say that as a general rule, keep it as low as long as you're getting the vape/flavor you are looking for? As you said, too high and you risk burning it up.

:vapor:
That's it, really!!
Plus....keeping a low battery setting will help extend use between charges!!
Glad you made your way to the MVP2!!! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Thank you so much! I was really on the fence as to whether to get this on not. Thanks to all the helpful people who shared their knowledge and experience. I could not be happier with my MVP2!! I chose the blue one. Something about that color just really grabbed me.

I can see why. I am really loving mine. I really can not thank the people who shared their experiences and info with me. It made a hard decision very easy. Great people on this site and the MVP2 owners were especially helpful to this newbie.

What is so different that makes the Iclear 30s so much better than the 30 or 16? It's an honest question. I only have experience with my EVOD starter kit. I want to get the most reliable and good working piece for when I pick up an MVP2. Does one way out perform the others, or is it more a subjective thing among users. Sort of a YMMV, (Your Mileage May Vary), thing.

i can't speak for the 30S, but the 16B far outperforms the 16 IMO. those that i've turned on to vaping have been identically opined.

I got my MVP 2 about a week ago, and love, love it. I am so inclined to be a "if it works, don't fix it person." I have a bunch of Evod tanks that have performed so well with my egos and then with the Vision Spinners. I put them on the MVP 2 to see how they worked. They fit perfectly, the flavor and vapor is quite a lot improved over using them on the egos and Spinners. So that's what I've been using with my MVP.

I got a free Iclear 30 with my MVP and it's still in the wrapper. Seeing the long wicks hanging down in the top worried me. What happens when they get soaked in juice, and you want to use another flavor? Maybe someone who has actually used the Iclear 30 will clarify this for me.

And yes, after reading and reading on this forum, and hearing everyone's favorite this and that, I do believe a lot is subjective whether it is tanks, devices, or juice.

I'm trying hard to just settle in and enjoy vaping and not smoking. I don't want to keep chasing the next big thing. Just my opinion, of course.:)

top coil clearos can have their wicks rinsed out to change flavors. as always, changing from a particularly strong or persistent flavor to one that's not very strong may still leave the aftertaste of the aforementioned.

Many thanks! I think I will stick with my 16B's as they are giving me great taste and thick clouds. As was mentioned, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. This may be all I ever need to satisfy my vaping needs.

more than welcomed, Inferno.

I agree. as long as you don't start to favor any tank cracker juices as we often do in my home, the 16B should be a solid, reliable performer for you. glad you enjoy it.

Thank you. Is there a listing anywhere as to what the tank cracker juices are?
I've been using Want2Vape's Mystical Menthol and it's working well. I don't foresee myself changing flavors anytime soon. This mimics my old menthol cigarettes better than anything I've tried.

some retailers (mount baker for example) might have a list of their tank cracker juices. though, you really should get to know what it is that may crack tanks (citrus and cinnamon for example) and get to know the juices you're planning on purchasing before you spend money on items you can't use.

or you can have a couple pyrex or stainless tanks dedicated to your tank crackers if you find you like them.
