Innokin Proton need help please

I recently had the Innokin TC100 and it was amazing. I dropped it and would never charge so I decided to buy a new ecig. I purchased the proton as it was on offer and looked better.

I only had it on for 10 minutes, vaping at 40watts. This thing is supposed to go over 200. The glass heated up really fast and cracked. I’ve had 4 different ecigs since I started vaping and this is rubbish.

Any advice ? It shouldn’t get too hot in only a short amount of time. None of my other ecigs or mods did this. I was vaping at 55wats on the TC100..

Hi Blizzard,

Very sorry to hear about the trouble you've experienced with your Proton. For clarity sake, what tank were you using? It's very abnormal for the glass to crack from typical use. If it was with the Plex tank, certain coils go beyond 100 watts no problem. Could you attach pictures of the cracked glass and provide more information in regards to what atomizer and coil you were using? If necessary, we can provide warranty support for you.

Hi, thanks. I dont have the glass I thrown it away. I am using the spare but the tank gets really hot quite fast. I take 8 puffs on it then it's that hot I cant even touch it. Even the whole kit gets hot.

I am using the standard tank you get with the kit.
Plex tank (0.13 ohm coil)

I have to put the wattage up to around 40+ otherwise nothing comes out. Then after 8 puffs it's really hot.

The first Innokin I had was the tc100 before this and it was amazing. I didn't have any problems with it at all, and it never got hot.
