I've only had my V V 3.0 for about a month and use it pretty moderately (only about an hour on & off throughout the day, if that). Since I got an eVic & MPV 2.0 shortly after upgrading to the V V 3.0 from my Halo Triton's that originally got me off analogs a year ago. I've had nothing but wonderful things to say about all my devices, especially the little v v (don't let its size fool ya [emoji41]). From my experience it seems to have the most consistent and true flavor of any device I own.
So now on to the current issue...I''ve kept it pretty well charged the last few days bc I had several long road trips this week and didn't want anything dying on me. I topped off the charge every morning before I left even if it still had 2/3 charge remaining. To my knowledge and per my research, I've actually read that it's best to do partial charges on Li-Ions bc they don't hold any memory like our cells do, so I never thought much about it. Well, tonight I went to take a hit after an hour or so of sitting and got nothing...the green light lit up but no vapor coming from my PT3 (which has never happened btw). My husband's PT3 coil tends to get a bit loose after refilling and he'll experience this "no vape" issue but it's never been an problem on my PT3. So anyway, as soon as I took my finger off the button it went from green to flashing red, green and yellow as if I'd just turned it on. And of course the puff counter is resetting to 0 after each light show as well which did at least confirm my suspicion that the lights weren't some warning error telling me I was holding the fire button too long or perhaps there was issue with over heating. Its got a fully charged battery and a new coil on my PT3. Now almost every time I go to take a vape it does this. Anyone have a clue what the heck is going on and how to fix it?

I know it's not the best pic but if you're able to read the LED screen at all, it has a 1, (or l) then three horizontal stacked dashes then another 1. What in the heck does this mean? It's doing it almost every vape now. No vaper is produced then the fire button does its multi color flash and the odd combo of l, dashes, l and cuts off. I apologize if there was a more brand specific thread to put this post in, mods pls feel free to move this to the best place. Anyone who has had this issue or knows how to fix it pls hit me back. Thanks fellow vapor's [emoji41] [emoji6]

Hi Kat,
Please remove the atomizer from the device and press both up/down at the same time and tell us what the display shows ?

The most likely issue on these is related to the positive pin in the 510/ego connector shorting to the body of the connector because of the rubber grommet wearing out allowing the pin to contact the ground side of the connector.

If its bad enough the shorting will show when nothing is attached with the display reading A0.0

If it is showing "NON" thats what it should read without an atomizer attached. If that is the case and it reads A0.0 with the atty attached then you will need to have it repaired or replaced. There are several threads here at ECF and videos on youtube which demonstrate how to fix a bad center pin with a simple rubber o-ring.

However, if your unit continues to display a garbeled illegible message...I'm afraid Norrin is correct....it's toast :-(

I previously own two itaste one after another due to this problem. What I did to the second one was using a flat head screwdriver (a tiny one) and nudge out the centre post on the itaste and slowly adjust the rubber insulator in there. But be really careful not to break the wire connected to base of the centre post or else soldering would be required. Anyway the best way is to contact whoever you got it from and check if you can get it replaced or fixed. Hope this helped.
