Hi guys so I've narrowed it down to these two battery's for my first VV, but I'm stuck between trying to choose between them. The box mod kind of scares me. I've also seen reports that they fire about the same ratings. But another thing is the weight difference. Yes it would be nice to be able to charge things but the MVP2 would be so much heavier. Then again I could probably go a week without charging knowing my vape habits (only changed my 900 ego batt once in the week I've had it). I am female and do have a large purse usually so not as much of an issue for carrying. So I'd love to hear personal opinions on these two batteries. While the price difference of 20 bucks might not seem like much to some, it's a lot of money for me to spend on a new battery when I have Christmas and a new cute boyfriend to spoil. So if I'm going to spend that extra 20 I want to be sure it's worth it I guess.

Hello
I have both the MPV2 and the itaste vv 3. I like both of them for they do basically the same thing. The MPV2 is a little smaller than a pack of cigarettes and boy does the battery life last and last. I use the vv3 for when I run errands since it easily bits in my pocket or purse.
I think the MPV2 has a more powerful hit. May be an illusion but I don't think so. For me anyway.

I own the original MVP (VV only) and have handled the iTaste VV.

I use the MVP daily at work. It's really not that heavy or bulky as far as mods go. It's roughly the dimensions of a slim pack of analogs, so it is pocket-friendly. Only needing to recharge it every 2 - 3 days is a big convenience.

If you choose to go with the iTaste V3, you will need to purchase at least two of them, as it is only an 800 mAh battery and likely won't last over 8 - 10 hours between charges. I know it can be used as a passthrough, but it's nice to not have to be tethered to a cord while vaping/charging.

I have both the VVv3 and MVPv2. I use the larger MVP for home vaping because it's not as stealthy as the VV (I don't want to find out if this is forbidden at work). Also, the awesome battery life of the MVP makes it a heavy device which can't be carried comfortably in a shirt pocket (like old analog phones). It seems to me that the MVP makes better clouds of smoke, with both units equipped with ProtankII minis. If you are a casual user, the VV can last several days on a charge but the MVP has a battery that will run the marathon for heavy use with infrequent charging. They're both about the same height with the MVP being far stouter as it is a box mod. They both have excellent variable volt/watt control interfaces with a slight edge going to the VV because it allows you to add or subtract the level whereas the MVP only adds until the max and then circles back to the min. Cosmetically, both are a class act but I think the MVP looks cooler.

I tried to respond yesterday when my car keys wouldn't start the ignition but I guess my phone wasn't working either (my boyfriend got into my car, turned the key once and it started. Story of my life). But I took a leap of faith and bought the MVP2 and another mini protank. Also some 2.2 ohm replacement coils since I've been using 1.8 with my ego batt. I'm soooo excited!

Good for you.

Both batteries serve their purpose.

I use my vv3's in the car and at work. I can comfortable hold the vv3 in my left hand while it is no the steering wheel. Nice, Light, Vapes great.

I use the MVP2 at home. Great battery life, easy to hold, but a bit more bulky than the vv3.

The MVP2 allows me to take the night and weekend load off my vv3's thus extending their life span.

If I could ONLY afford one, I'd take the MVP2. However, I still use both daily.

I have both. Or I meant to have both. I was going to use the MVP 2 for work, as I have a tough, 2 hour commute. Knowing I'm not going to run out of power is one less thing I need to worry about. Plus, I've used the charging phone feature a couple of times now. The VV v3 was going to be my back up and my home, need to chase the kids vape. I can make a grab for my 2 yr old with it in my hand. Thing is, my husband stole the VV v3, and won't return it. Refuses to. He won't use anything else. Except for my MVP of course. He insisted that I only get him a typical, variable volt battery last time I went gear shopping.... Argh!! Anyway, get both. You never know what could happen to one. Like stolen for instance...

You won't be disappointed!!

Here's a pic of what your MVP2 with a Mini Protank II will look like...
