Just read on a thread in the German Forum that Samsung SDI apperantly changes dome details in the datasheet of the 40T: Samsung INR21700-40T - Seite 5 - Mountainprophet
40T_NEW.PNG

On the one hand it seems like the weight of the battery is reduced from 75 Gramm to 70 Gramm, but on the other hand the CDR is now even raised to 45A under thermal limitation.

My question is mainly to Mooch, but maybe the others here would have an answer as well?!

Is it possible, that the INR21700-40T is a different one from the 40T that were tested so far?

Did anyone has more information on that?

Samsung is finally starting to release the production version of the 40T to some distributors/customers. There are some changes in the latest version of the datasheet.

I will be receiving samples of these production cells and will compare them to the performance and appearance of the pre-production samples I tested earlier.
