Well, as if we didn't have enough to do preparing for 500 new Trade customers each month, tomorrow we are all back at work to empty our current operations room. The builders arrive on Monday and will transform a large section of the factory into a clean Operations Room with lowered ceiling, daylight lighting, pure white cladded walls, laboratory standard flooring and all new storage and packing furniture. The 10 staff who work in there have all been issued with their white lab coats with Intellicig logo and hair nets in Intellicig green - REVENGE IS MINE!! :D It will be a state of the art Ops Room in keeping with the high standards that we have become accustomed to setting. As soon as the builders leave and we move back in (2 weeks) I'll get some pictures and maybe a video online. Then it's the turn of our office staff as we will be redecorating for them also to folow our recent installation of a totally new SDSL network throughout the factory - 48 terminals that used up 1500 metres of cable!! 8-o
More news still to come, just keep your eyes peeled! ;)
John.

One week in and the structural work is almost complete. A lowered ceiling goes in over the next few days with the daylight lighting. The floor should be in within a week followed by a truckload of new shelving/workstations for packing and custom benches for the robotic filling machines.

Orders are not being affected as the factory is huge enough for us to relocate the whole operation to another section until work is complete.
This is just one of our many current projects requiring considerable reinvestment but we know this is the way to ensure our future as the number one company, first in Europe then hopefully worldwide.

More importantly, we don't forget our humble roots and the customers who have, and still do, pay our wages. Yesterday Suzanne and I spent half an hour setting a lovely lady up with the right kit. She has wanted one for a while but was worried as she has COPD and her lungs are in poor condition. Her Doctor has advised her to use Intellicig as an alternative to the hand rolled cigarettes she was smoking as he believes she will be much better off. She left our offices happy and determined to kick her habit.
That is what makes our job really worthwhile.
John.
