Intellicig electronic cigarette bolster commitment to healthcare
by Slater PR
Lancashire based company Intellicig are bolstering their mission to produce the safest, cleanest and most reliable electronic cigarette products on the market by joining other high flying healthcare businesses.
In a move to reinforce their brand within the healthcare sector, Intellicig have been granted membership with Medilink North West.
Medilink North West is a membership-based professional organisation with a remit to stimulate growth and innovation in the medical and health technology sector throughout the North West. It is part of Medilink UK, a national network of Medilink partners working to improve innovation and technology transfer in the UK healthcare sector.
Through membership, Intellicig will receive a practical portfolio of business support to assist with its ongoing research and development bolstering its credentials and market presence.
David Newns, commercial director at Intellicig, said: The collaborative research, networking opportunities and events offered by Medilink membership are particularly valuable to Intellicig.
We already have strong links with the University of Manchester Incubator Company (UMIC), where we have access to state-of-the-art laboratories fully accredited for bioscience and biotech developments and in-house mentoring and professional services.
This new membership will allow us to work closely with a directory of other Medilink North West members including innovators, manufacturers, distributors and suppliers to Universities, Colleges and NHS organizations to improve the healthcare offering across the North West. We hope to do this by sharing skills and best practice whilst conducting further research into our products.
By working with UMIC, Intellicig has already invested heavily in producing their own brand of nicotine liquid (e-liquid) right here in the UK, the only company currently doing so.
The liquid, Intellicig ECOpure, has been perfected through intensive research, testing and stringent quality control and is distinct from their competitors, who use e-liquid imported from abroad containing unmonitored chemicals.
The brand has been praised by health experts for offering a healthier alternative to traditional cigarettes. It allows smokers to again enjoy the freedom to smoke in public places and, most importantly, free themselves from the proven life-threatening dangers of smoking tobacco.
David added: We take quality control very seriously and our commitment to reinvestment will ensure that we are able to produce the safest and most reliable products on the market.
We hope that through Medilink we will be able build strategic relationships with other members which allow us to continue investing into intensive research and new developments on tobacco free smoking whilst making our products more accessible to the public.
