I haven't built anything yet, but have recently developed an interest in learning the art of mod building. I've spent most of the last month reading up on this forum and teaching myself to solder.

I'm interested in how the SxS or sidewinders work. What kind of contact would the 2 sides need to make to complete the circuit? I've seen some really nice examples by Bapgood? Not sure if that right. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Hmmm. No responses yet. Maybe I should clarify my question. I'm wanting to start with a wooden base with 2 22mm holes drilled in the top. I have an old Nemesis clone I want to mount into it. One side I want to have the battery tube for an 18650 battery and then the other half will house the top cap with a Kick 2 under it. Researching how the Zenesis Sidewinder is built, I can see how the plate is mounted underneath with adjustable pins on each side. My "real" question is, how do allow for the negative current to ground out?
