So, I've been looking for a 'hotter' hit practically since I started vaping, and have had little to no consistent results in the area short of using a 5v mod with LR cartos, which seems to burn them up pretty quickly. What I did notice, however, was as soon as I started mixing menthol flavors, I stopped expecting that high-temperature hit from each drag..
Just thought I'd make mention of that, see if anyone else had similar stories to share, not to mention maybe it'll help people just starting out get over the fact it's not exactly like a cigarette. I don't even have to put enough menthol in to taste it, just a drop or two into a whole batch and subconsciously I stop expecting a hot vape because of the presence of menthol in the mix.
Unrelated, but for people coming from strong menthols like Newports (at least I'd consider those 'strong' as I smoked Skylines when I wanted a menthol), it seems a real fast way to 'fix' a DIY juice is just adding more menthol, it masks the other undesirable flavors nicely, and in small batches it only takes 4-6 drops to really cover most any flavor you're putting in, that's using TFA Menthol from MFS.
