Ok so I've been out of the ecig community for quite awhile now. I recently started to smoke and I'm looking to get caught up on the new devices. I'm looking for recommendations for an internal battery box. I want this box to last me the full day plus, but also not something that that will pull my pants down when it goes into my pocket.

Thanks for help

Hi and welcome back,
How much are you smoking? How many per day?
What is your budget?
Have you considered a disposable, high nicotine pod like Juul to avoid cigarettes until you get a proper setup?

Cheers

I'm smoking a pack+ sometimes a black&mild.
I'm thinking something that is under $100, I'll be in this for the ling haul again so I'll be back to making my own juice. The deposable e-cig just won't cut it for me. I need to feel that all so satisfying throat hit. I was just looking at the Innokin MVP 5, it seems to be a decent rig, especially with a 5400mah battery.

Are you going to be rebuilding or using drop in coils?
Which tank are you planning to buy/use?
Has your state restricted flavors or on-line ordering?

Cheers

I won and MPV 5 and I LOVE it.

You will need really big pockets. I think it would meet your battery needs however, and it's a fantastic, smooth vape.

So I went to my local vape shop and he talked me into the drag 2 mini. It's not to big or heavy and has a 4400mah battery. I'll be giving this a go as soon as I get home.

Thanks for the help

It's been so long ago but I believe I use to run around 30watts.

I was just looking at the MVP 5.

That's a VERY large mod and quite heavy.

27x94x53mm and weighs 234g

Then you add the weight of your tank and not only will it weigh your pants down, but it could quite possibly pull them off!!!

I hope that Drag 2 Mini is lighter for ya.

I always suggest that former-smoker vapers always have at least 2 mods and 2 tanks. These things can break and malfunction and no time is a good time when this happens :)

If you are in need of another mod but want something different than the Voopoo Drag 2 mini, you can always try the Geekvape Aegis Mini not to be confused with the Aegis Solo or Aegis Max). It's a smaller mod but only has a 2200mAh battery, but it's a rugged mod. It's rated at up to 80 watts.

You could consider the Eleaf Istick Power 80w, 5000 mah. No thrills but a decent, cheap mod that will fit snug in your pocket.

49.5mm*23.5mm*83.5mm

You just as well could buy any device with 18650’s and leave the batteries inside. If you open a mod with a ‘built in’ battery that’s generally what you will find one or more 18650’s. Then why not build one yourself?

And if I may add...If you go on holiday pack at least 3 mods, 2 tanks and a couple of spare glasses in your suitcase. I always tend to break and lose my gear when I am abroad. Last time in The Gambia I ended up smoking real cigs. There is not one vaping shop in the whole country.
