I was wondering some things but i wanted to hear it straight from the vets. Many questions

RBA:

What is the best flavor wicking material you have used?
What is the best fast wick you have used?
What is the best wire or similar material you have used?
And why, of course, for all ^.^

Flavors:

Where do you buy your concentrated flavor?
Do any of you make your own flavors? If so, how?
Have any of you ever run into a flavor very similar to the "Blu" flavor?
Have you found a flavor like a real cig?

tanks:

What is your fav tank, and why?
Do you prefer bottom, or top attys?
Long wicks or short wicks?
Do you tend to replace your wicks even if it is a new atty?

juice:
Do you prefer Dark or light?
Do your juices gunk a lot?

Thats all i can think of for now, hehe. Many have these questions, and many have answered. I just wanted to hear from the vets. hehe

I was wondering some things but i wanted to hear it straight from the vets. Many questions

RBA:

What is the best flavor wicking material you have used?
SS and cotton.
What is the best fast wick you have used?
Both SS and cotton can be made to work very well.
What is the best wire or similar material you have used?
Only used Kanthal. Works for me.
And why, of course, for all ^.^

Flavors:

Where do you buy your concentrated flavor?
Canvape.
Do any of you make your own flavors? If so, how?
Not me.
Have any of you ever run into a flavor very similar to the "Blu" flavor?
No idea what that tastes like.
Have you found a flavor like a real cig?
No.

Tanks:

What is your fav tank, and why?
I'm assuming you're talking about carto tanks. Only used one and it did the job, so not really a favorite. They do a great job though.
Do you prefer bottom, or top attys?
Do you mean clearomizer? Only ever used top.
Long wicks or short wicks?
Doesn't matter. I've seen both be good and both be bad. Device design is more important than wick length IMO.
Do you tend to replace your wicks even if it is a new atty?
No.

Juice:
Do you prefer Dark or light?
Doesn't matter to me, but dark tends to gunk up the coil faster. For me it's worth it for a good juice.
Do your juices gunk a lot?
Some yes, some not.

Thats all i can think of for now, hehe. Many have these questions, and many have answered. I just wanted to hear from the vets. hehe

Asking what is the best of something can be hard to answer. So much depends on how the person uses things, what they value and what their expectations are. It's like asking what is the best car. Ask 10 people and you'll likely get 10 different answers and they will all be correct for each person :2cool:.

I was wondering some things but i wanted to hear it straight from the vets. Many questionsRBA:What is the best flavor wicking material you have used?
Don't know, I try to use wicks with as little flavor as possible so my juice flavors will come through better. Never compared which wick had the best taste.
What is the best fast wick you have used?
Ecowool
What is the best wire or similar material you have used?
Kanthal for resistance wire. A copper-silver star shaped wire for HFHV. THHN coated solid copper for power transfer. I like the red varnish copper for winding wire the best.
And why, of course, for all ^.^
Because that's what I liked for that circumstance.
Flavors: Where do you buy your concentrated flavor?
From at least 7 different places. Now that I think about it I buy from 9 different vendors. One of them doesn't even know I use their product for flavoring.
Do any of you make your own flavors? If so, how?
I make many of my own flavors, but I do not make my own flavorings. I mix different flavorings together and make different flavors. It is a fun hobby and results are not always what was expected.
Have any of you ever run into a flavor very similar to the "Blu" flavor?
Wouldn't know if I did as I've never had a Blu nor any desire to try a Blu, so I will remain ignorant of Blu flavor for many more years.
Have you found a flavor like a real cig?
Yep. American Spirit Non-Filters. Taste like a real cig to me. Good stuff. My mixes are great tasting though, much better than good stuff.
Tanks: What is your fav tank, and why?
The one that never gets close to my face, my vaping equipment, or my general area since I hate tanks.
Do you prefer bottom, or top attys?
Like 306 being a "top" atty and a 510 being a "bottom" atty? I like the 306-ish I06, but I also like the HH.357 which is more 510-ish.
Long wicks or short wicks?
No opinion, but I would think whichever one works best for you would be the best way to go.
Do you tend to replace your wicks even if it is a new atty?
Only if it is a rebuildable dripping atty since most atty's would be a bugger-bear to replace wicks on. (You might be confusing a clearomizer with an atomizer here?)
Juice: Do you prefer Dark or light?
Both and some half way between.
Do your juices gunk a lot?
I have some recipes that gunk coils more so than others. My Bearclaw comes to mind as one that can really put a layer of gunk down in a hurry, but it's so good that it is worth it.
Thats all i can think of for now, hehe. Many have these questions, and many have answered. I just wanted to hear from the vets. hehe
Cool, but I can be fairly literal in my responses. When my boys were young their friends would call the house and I'd answer to hear, "Can I talk to Devin?" and I'd say something like, "You certainly seem capable of talking. Is that what you wanted to know?", and they would usually respond with, "Yes". So I'd say goodbye and hang up since they got the answer to the question they asked and that was all they wanted from their phone call. Never understood why someone would use a phone to ask if they were capable of talking to someone but children do the oddest things.

RBA:

What is the best flavor wicking material you have used?
in order of favorite cotton, silica ekowool, SS mesh, regular silica
What is the best fast wick you have used?
Ekowool because I can put a thin rod or wire down the center wrap it remove the wire and go
What is the best wire or similar material you have used?
Subjective depends on the ohms, wrap count, single our multi coil and watts/voltage
And why, of course, for all ^.^

Flavors:

Where do you buy your concentrated flavor?
I chose Flavor West as in my research including MSDS the appear to be the safest and I have loved all theri flavors to date. In other words they earned my trust they are very open about the contents of the liquid unlike some.
Do any of you make your own flavors? If so, how?
i have been DIYing for almost 9 months but only after careful research. Lucky for me I had Chemistry in College knew the measurement systems need and how to safely handle it. Glasses, gloves and mask since I use high nic level base. I use the smallest measuring device I can use to insure accuracy. you don't use a 100ml graduated cylinder to measure 1 ml or less.
Have any of you ever run into a flavor very similar to the "Blu" flavor?
Have you found a flavor like a real cig?
Never tried sorry i got away from tobacco on like the 2-3rd week made it easier to leave the tobacco behind.

Tanks:

What is your fav tank, and why?
The Davide Full size Glassomerizer in second is the mini. my complaint about the mini is that it has an ego thread and is hard to fil without a small needle syringe or bottle.
Do you prefer bottom, or top attys?
Bottom if it does not leak. Bottom is gravity feed you don't have to tip it.
Long wicks or short wicks?
Depends on the atty. No longer than it takes to get to but not bunch up on the bottom of a tank. Dripers is a whole different thing. That is a matter of what fits and what type of wick
Do you tend to replace your wicks even if it is a new atty?
not unless there is a short, messed up wick or wrap or poor material or contamination. I have never had to do that except for some cheap heads i got. The wick was half the size it was suppose to be.
Juice:
Do you prefer Dark or light?
The less color the healthier it is likely to be and the less the gunk on the coils IME.
Do your juices gunk a lot?
Depends on the juice seems like the dark stuff gunks up the most again IME. If it has say a double or triple flavor dose it seems to. again IME

Hope this has been of help :2c:
