Perhaps- but now after 3+ days, I've been through 3 cycles on two MNKEs and a well broken in AW IMR - not noticing any real difference in run times. The IMR seems to give me about 7-8 hrs and close to 4ml on the ProVari. gives me between 2 and 3ml on the EQ. I'm going to try to charge an MNKE in the unit tonight and see if that makes a difference.

I wonder if switching to a high mAh 2c battery would last longer if you're vaping at low voltage anyway.

I obviously don't know a lot about batteries. I try reading the technical stuff and I generally get the gist, but my eyes gloss over trying to decipher the E=mc2 stuff.

I don't think so- all it does is lock you out of the higher boost levels from what I understand. But I'm not lower voltage- I'm at 5.3V-5.4V... occasionally I use 4.5 attys at 6V, but I've been using the same 3.5 IKV since friday.

PS- it's two equations - really- just algebra:

V is voltage (sometimes written as E)
I is current
R is resistance
P is power

I= V/R
and P = IV

OR

I=E/R
and P=IE

and when you put the two together P= IE=E* E/R = E2/R

I'm not too well versed in electronics. My dad just rolled over ... electronics was his profession.
Seems to me the equations would be a lot easier to understand with more intuitive variables in use.
V for voltage helps. I = Current? Who knew? LOL.
Power is watts, correct? Why not W?

Oh well, tomorrow (11 minutes from now CDT) is another day. And, it might be interesting.

I too, am curious about using some of the higher mAh, 2C batteries at lower voltage settings.

I plan on using them. I rarely vape over 4.5v.

Cool I got some 2900's I like and vape most at around 4.5 or so. I just wonted to see if they would fit so when I get mine back in tomorrow I can toss one in and start testing it out.

Thanks Drum :)

MX, I tried the 18650 2200mAh black AW and it worked fine but I didn't record the time and, at the time, forgot to program the EQ, by utilizing program 5 for the 2c batt type...I'll have to try that and see if it lasts longer.

Shout out to BSP Lurking!

Shout out to the Lurkers, East coast said hey!

Sounds like the best bet- caution though- you need to keep it upright if it's got juice loaded in it.
I thought about that regarding the open well around the atty. Maybe on the next design they could enclose this with recessed threaded lip around the well and a threaded cap and o-ring around the opening hole at the top of the cap the atty shaft would go through so juice won't leak out.

Back to work today... I had a few voltage resets yesterday - still not sure if it's me palming the touchpad, or something wrong the device.
I charged over night via USB and still got LED 7 & 8 in the AM- other than that, it seems to be operating properly.
Should be interesting to see how easy it is to use while driving.
