I don't think I misread the data. If 00:06.9 | 4.9851 V DC means that over a 6.9 second draw the average voltage was 4.9851, where it should be what (4.0 or 4.1), then it is almost a volt over and too high for an LR atomizer. Right? If not, please clarify.

No- the setting was the 10th LED in the 4V range- the ideal expected reading was 4.90V - so it was off by .085V - under 2% - completely acceptable in non percision instruments.

yikes!!!
Check the spring- I doubt it's the reason but make sure it isn't collapsed-

Checked the spring and it doesn,t look collapsed. thks for trying jimho! I've sent an email to info@digitalciggz.com & support@digitalciggz.com, tweeted him to check his email, and left a voicemail with the number given for support.

I'll find out more tomorrow, I'm sure.

I gotta give Michael a chance and don't want to say anymore...

The 6.9 second observation was tested when set to the 9th led clockwise on the wheel therefore should be 4.9V(accourding to Michael's videos); it's only .0851 V off the mark.
But if you notice the 21.8 second observation @ 4.0V recorded and average of 4.1002; .1002 off the mark - therefore LR vapors may experience more problems than SR vapors... At least that's what I'm taking from the data and Jim's clarification.

correct. AND I recall (I'm not sure where) that the recommendation was to use Regular or HV atties with this device anyway.

Observation / Report: had company last night so sat for a long time at the table. vaping my EQ and talking over about a 2hr time periad I had the EQ reset it self to 4v from 4.5v. Any one having this happen.

Ok fired it up this morning EQ button in the center of the dial is blinking but it is holding the setting, Ok funny thing happening just happened here.

EQ button flashing and the unit is turning on and off. Random pattern first 10 flashes then off, 5 off, 2 off, 10 off.

Any one having this issue. Still fires when I hit the fire button. Still pumping when I hit the pump button.

Ok now this is starting to suck, Unit turning on and off. I hit the fire button and all the lights flashing. Pulled the battery, spring is fine. Put new full charged battery in and its back to normal. Holding setting and is pumping.

Battery I pulled out was reading 3.5v this is a MNKE 18650 that I ordered with the unit when I got it the first time.

Not a good way to start my day :) I will report back latter when the battery depletes again to see if this is the low battery warning or what.

Yep- I've been having that problem all along- I can't guarantee it happens by itself or if I'm holding it facing my palm and trip it by accident... but I'm struggling with that....

yeah- sounds like you pressed the fire button and the eq button at the same time and then tried to interrupt it pressing the eq button again... or the battery is low...-

Low battery is the EQ button flashing green/red... it seems to only run for a few minutes that way- then it does an auto shut down-

I didn't measure the charge on the MNKEs when they came in but the first one I had gave me about 20 minutes out of the box before I had to swap it- so I'd say charge them when you get em..... And I don't notice IMRs running significantly shorter, so if you have AW 18650's , they seem to work just as well..

1. I was very mindful to make sure I was not hitting any thing. (I will keep a watch on it today)

2. It did it when it was just sitting in front of me I did not even have it in my hand. When the hole dial was lighting up I was only hitting the fire button.

3. It was a fresh MNKE I put in last night after getting the EQ back. It was charged of my home charger. I will run one more MNKE today and then switch to a Black AW 18650 to see what that dose for battery life. The first battery only got me through about 2.5ml of juice using a 2.4oHm Joye atty from VK. set at 4.5-4.6-4.7. I was bouncing aback and forth to see what was working best.

I will leave it set at 4.6v today through the battery with out moving it using a fully charged MNKE

Thanks Jim. :)

Update on my EQ:

Led was on and set at 4.6 as I have been vaping on all morning. My last post was 8:34 and it was running as it should.

I picked it up to take a vape no fire no EQ light up but the LED 4.6 was on. Pulled the battery to check and hope for a rest but

NO GO IT IS DEAD AGAIN.
This is the second time I have got less then 24 HR out of it fresh from DC. Its never even left the house never laid down never dropped or miss handled. I am not happy at this time and will be sending DC an email. I am so glad right now I have Mods I can trust to work every time I hit the button.

I feel at this time we need to hear from the Beta testers to address the issues they found and what there findings and recommendations were to DC.

It would also be nice to here from Mario him self being he is the one building these or overseeing the build.

I will not pay for shipping back to DC this time I feel I did my part the first time. I will be requesting a replacement not a repair. Obviously there is issues with my unit and should be a complete replacement.

I will report back after I get a reply from DC.

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

20% failure rate on the first run is not good. Then to get one back that was suppose to be fixed just to find out it wasn't, really bad. I agree we need to hear from Mario since he designed the EQ. Michael why haven't we heard from Mario? It is his baby after all isn't it?

By the way Wayne if this happens to me I'm requesting a refund. There's plenty of good devices with little to no issues on the market.

Man, I'm so sorry Wayne. This is definitely not a good thing. We all waited for this PV for almost a year now and it's not working like it should. Were these units even beta tested? For $300.00 these things shouldn't be happening at all.... glad I cancelled my order.
