I'm so sorry for the problems you're experiencing MX...decided to take my 2nd EQ for a test run to verify it was working beyond just putting the battery in and it didn't make it two hours....the 6th led light just started blinking and would not stop...fire and pump buttons would not activate....sounds similar to your problem, second go round...I sent mine off to DC just this morning, on his dime...I'll report back.
I have no complaints as long as DC is so fantastic at Customer service.
Any one used the EQSUPPORT1@COMCAST.NET email for communication on the EQ this is listed on the warranty sheet.
