hi everyone, after smoking for 30 years i made a resolution to really quit (after many unsuccessful tries) and vaping has converted me. I have tried patches, gum and cold turkey. when my ecig arrived that was the last day i smoked (28 Dec 2011). I have no desire or cravings anymore... A miracle!!! count me in as a vaper, if thats the right phrase :vapor:. Thanks in advance for all the help i am confident to recieve.

Hi tcolley! Welcome to ECF - this is a great place. Congrats on quitting too - you will truly enjoy your new vaping lifestyle! I've been at it now just over 4 months after smoking analogs 8 years.

The accomplishment I'm most proud of is converting my mother - she smoked 52 years. I bought her a starter kit and in the last week, she's had 3 analogs. She loves vaping as much as I do now!

Glad to have you here with us!

In chicago last season we certainly got our share in form of a blizzard that made the top 3 here.
Yes this season nothing really to speak of but thats a nice break and hope it stays that way.

welcome aboard and congrats.

You might have the urge to have a cig. If you do don't worry. I know a lot of people here, including myself, took a few weeks or few months to give up cigs all together. If you do fall off the wagon important thing to remember is that you went the longest without smoking. :) You'll also find that they taste like yack crap after vaping for a while.

I initially ordered a v2cigs starter kit but i didn't like it. so I read up and bought a ego-c (for out and about) and a provari which I LOVE :D. I started vaping to get off analogs but now I have a new hobby.

I just bought a e-power 2800 while I save up for a provari. How do you enjoy it? It appears to be the cream of the crop of e-cigs.
