I have one but am not able to take a picture. I had to send my Futura in to be repaired due to issues with the dna board. When it gets back I'll send a picture if nobody else has yet. I'm really missing it right now.
Are you guys using the new Efest 18650 35A 2500mAH batteries in the DNA30 Futura? These are the same length as the recommended SONY VTC4 batteries and have 400 more mAH.
only nipple tops works they have a nipple top version of the vtc4 or you can buy orbtronic 30a high drain batteries

I was hoping the Russian was closer to the same color as the Futura.
is that for all dna 20/30 devices? or is that just a futura specific thing?
Most dna20 mod makers including the futura try to prevent the use of flat top batteries in their devices by design since the dna20/30 board itself doesn't provide reverse battery protection.
its a futura thing for both models and some other modders but there are other mod makers who make dna 20/30 mods that can take both nipple and flat you just have to ask the specific mod maker which batteries they take i have a stealthy dna 30 box mod from another maker coming that takes both nipple top and flat top batteries there out there you just have to look around i know shan mods gadget can take nipple or flat top and she does dna 30 devices aswell
my shanbox dna20 only takes nipple top batteries so you had better check before saying that.(dual gadget)......
I also have shanbox dna20 dualgadget and use Panasonic flat tops no problem.
As other has pointed out, DNA20/30 does not have in built reverse polarity protections, it is up to the mod builder to choose include or not some form of mechanical protections.

does anyone know if the WE / WAE are able to use flat top or only button top batteries?

shans dual gadget accepts both flat or nipple go ask her if you dont believe YOU need To check your facts first before giving out incorrect info!
