How long are you guys waiting to receive your orders? I ordered on Jan 18th and am still waiting almost 3 weeks later. Sent an email two days ago asking for an update and haven't gotten a response.

I'm a patient guy if I know why I'm waiting, but this complete silence is bringing me closer to asking my bank for a chargeback every day.

Most of us only had to wait about 3 months.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on it. I'm certain you'll get a mod but forecasting ship dates is not the company's strong point... :D

What complete silence? Last I saw they were waiting on the DNA30 boards, which had just shipped a few days ago, and when they came in they would begin building the mods hat had just been ordered, am I missing something? All of this information has been posted in this thread.

Probably shouldn't say ships in 1-2 weeks on their website. :2c:

I have a dying Zmax that needs replacing asap. Might have to look elsewhere if I'll be waiting for an unknown amount of time.

I didn't order a Futura with a dna30. I ordered one before the website was updated. I don't need 30 watts either.

Silence as in I am a customer that gave them $275 and my email has not been answered for over two days. I shouldn't have to come to this thread to find out why the PV that was supposed to ship in 1-2 weeks hasn't shipped in almost 3. It's called customer service.

Unless I missed something, they still have outstanding back orders to build and ship. LCV was talking about three weeks to finish back orders and they apparently ran out of DNA20 chips during those builds so I'm assuming their delivery times have been pushed out by some amount. Pure conjecture on my part. I have one ordered since the day they announced the DNA30 but really am not holding my breath on it. I'd rather they build them at the speed they can produce high quality than rush to get it out the door.

is it just me or should they just remove the instock(now available) or ships in 2wks and just be vague like the pics they have , i mean it seems they just get customers in a tizzy when orders dont go out or dont reply to emails this new batch of consumers have probably not read all the stuff that we went thru being the first group of buyers

I agree completely. People tend to get upset when they discover they have paid up front for a product that in fact is not on hand and has no definite availability date. Clarifying that they are prepaying for a built to order product and may have a lengthy wait time would save everyone a lot of frustration. Maybe following the lead of the other DNA vendors and not allowing you to order or accepting payment until they are actually on hand and ready to ship would be an even better option.

They certainly need to do something. Indicate that it's custom built to order, figure out a way to have subassemblies prebuilt, give the customers an estimated ship date in their order email. And figure out a better way of estimating time. I'd guess that the estimating process right now is failing to consider rework and production issues like running out of the DNA20. It's part of being a startup. In the longer run they'll catch up on the back log and it won't be as large an issue. And I'd guess that LCV going dark is due to him buckling down to crank out more Futuras. Still, it's unfortunate that the issues tend to have a negative synergy with each other.

I'm guessing the prebuilt would be difficult. What separates nexgen is the number of options they offer which I would guess makes prebuilding them very difficult. Most companies are selling almost identical widgets, sure, there might be 5 color variations but not the huge variety nexgen offers. There's a reason they do that! :D
