This is exactly the case for me. If it said "pre-order" with no expectation of a delivery date, I wouldn't be so upset right now. As I said in a previous post, I'm a patient man when the company has set the proper expectation. Couple the obviously misleading information with the fact that my Zmax is crashing and losing its settings at least twice a day, and my patience has grown quite thin.
2086. Which means there are at least 44 people who've collectively given NexGen over $10,000 on the promise of a 1-2 week delivery.
Anyhow, thanks for the responses, guys and gals. I'm going to start looking for another in stock dna mod because I'm just not in a position to wait indefinitely right now.
Edit: Found a dna20 box mod at Pick N Puff. Got the last one they had in stock.

yea thats sooo unprofessional for a company to give estimated ship dates for a product that they outright know they cant meet the deadline. contemplating a charge back and taking my money over to fluid vapor!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my Futura order yet. Thankfully, the money isn't an issue for me right now. Since I've ordered a dna mod that's ready to ship, I'd be inclined to keep my Futura order in place if they'd just answer my email with truthful expectations. I think I'm going to email them again today with the idea of having my bank issue a chargeback if I haven't gotten a response by Monday.

yea money isnt a issue for me aswell i emailed them too without a response yet i just hate the fact that its going to most likely going to take atleast 2 months to ship plus they also have backorders from the dna 20 orders they havent shipped so who knows when they will start to ship new orders
I'm not trying to flame anyone or defend anyone, but: I don't feel the guy is misleading anyone. He explains on the website they are made to order, not sitting in stock waiting to be shipped. He's offering a custom product. Talks of charge backs and such, very unnecessary...but that's up to you guys...you can't please all of the people all of the time.

This clearly implies that they have stock and a build process time that will allow them to ship within 1-2 weeks. Further, not answering emails three weeks after purchase, when most banks only allow 30 days to charge back, is unacceptable.

Looks like the website has been updated to reflect an out of stock inventory. Wonder what happens with those of us who have already ordered...
The ability to fire down to 0.5 Ohms is what interests me the most. It'll make it a lot easier to build coils that work well with mechs as well as the Futura. I have no plans to go that low but right now the 1.2 Ohm cutoff on my Vamos forces me to target mech or regulated.
We'll get our Futuras at some future time. I'd think the slowness has three root causes. They were still catching up on back orders, they couldn't build them because they didn't have chips during the DNA20/DNA30 changeover, and they had an uptick in sales once they announced the DNA30 was available.
There is a slight difference in size between the 20 and 30 that may cause some issues as well. It apparently did slow production on the ZNAs.

Yep. I finally got a reply to the same effect last night.
Glad to see that the status was updated to out of stock on the website as well.
Is it possible to replace the 510 Allen screw with the flat head screw that comes with the Futura? Any details how if yes?
I don't think there is any reason to do that. What's wrong with the hex center post?
