I'm kicking myself for not pulling the trigger earlier. I can't wait til they start taking orders again. I'm quietly hoping while they aren't taking orders that they re-work the switch to take advantage of all the dna30 options.

dont hold your breath jon done said there will be no changes to the switch :(

They've gone in to friggin' seclusion again, my Futura decided to become defective last Sunday and I emailed them immediately to return it for repair and I've not heard a thing back in four business days.. Turns on and all that but it can't find an atomizer at all, (yes the positive pin is making contact with the atomizers). I think it's inside the top cap where the center pin connects to the DNA20 that's come undone somehow.

Anyway, yyeaahh... Back to using the Vamo V3.

So glad i did a charge back with my credit card company this type of customers service is unacceptable . Plus it looks like they didnt ship any orders and its past the three weeks they promised so disappointed in this company thought by this time around they would have gotten their act together !!!

I sent Jon an email today inquiring about my order. He responded quickly and said he was building and shipping now.

Great news but I'm kinda numb to the updates now. Getting my Futura in hand is about the only thing that will get me believing again. Or a shipping notification at least. Can't wait..... :)

I don't own a zna, but since they are based on the same chip, I think the form factor of the Futura wins....but that's just me.

Ya. That's what drew me towards the Futura. I prefer the tube mod form factor. Also the fact that 22mm toppers will fit smooth and flush is another strong point. Aluminum w/ Cerakote is also a selling point if it's as durable as it sounds. dna is dna regardless of its holder. So for now I wait. Shouldn't be long now. My order is a left over from the first batch so I should be close to the front of the line. When it became clear that I wouldn't get it before Christmas I opted to wait for a DNA 30 (not that I need the extra 10W right now).

I remember as one of the earliest Zen followers waiting months for his product. Shipping estimates were often missed and delayed. Zen would go dark from his thread. Some thought some of his comments were surly and CS was lacking. These were the growing pains of a startup. Many bailed and asked for refunds. Most though hung in there and waited for an exceptional device. This is only one example of many vendors with highly sought after devices. Most get the "kinks" out. I trust Jon will too. Give the guy a break.

Been thinking of getting a ZNA, but A) can't get them anywhere, and B) I'd want it with an 18650 tube and I think the only way to go about doing that would be to drive down to Rochester NY and visit his new outlet store in person. That's a good 4+ hour drive each way.. Ouch. And in my Dodge Ram that would be another 200 dollars in gas. Really hope Jon comes back soon, after a DNA, the Vamo really sucks LOL.

Griff, I had the same exact problem with mine.I e-mailed Jon and his reply was to back out the center pin a bit and and take a hammer and a punch and lightly tap on the center pin. I kinda sat there in dis-belief at this response, but since it was still under warranty I figured why not.

Worked perfectly, and has not had an issue since!!!!

After tapping it down, just re-adjust your center pin, and viola!!! vape nirvana!!!!

Good Luck

Thanks for the tip, I'm not sure if I'll use it or not though as I have another warranty issue with the rocker switch, Mine gets wedged down and fires it up to 20watts which fries my wicks and gives me a hell of a sore throat. I was making due just being conscious not to press the rocker down in the way to stop it from happening but I figured now was the time to RMA my Futura with the positive not making contact anymore.
