I ordered black, just got the ship notice today; I'll let you know how I like it when it gets in -> I can compare it to my black provari which still looks good, but has obvious wear.
People that received their new goodies, please upload the pics and make us envy till we receive ours
Just to give some of ya'll an update on my order, 2161. I sent an email to Jon through the contact page, asking him about the status of my order and if it will ship out Monday as expected..
"Probably won't ship Monday since, as usual, we have to wait for more boards from Evolv. Had a bunch of defectives in the last batch, so replacements are on the way. Sometime this week, though."
He got back to me in less than 12 hours! For some reason that makes me happy LOL

I can disassemble anything. Although I won't need to. I just have to be surgical with tape.
Many a word has been written. A lot of words exchanged. A lot of S&$T has been talked. Emails, posts: Highs and lows.
But now that my Futura has arrived I must say it is flawless.
I'll post more pics later. But this mod is absolutely beautiful. Vapes just as well.
Everything I hoped it would be. Quality from head to toe. Now I remember why I ordered this thing.
It wasn't all all peaches and cream, but Jon delivered. Thanks for my Mona Lisa.

When my futura arrives my family of mods will look just like yours down to the brass on the ProV, the WE, and even the colors. Nice collection. I got a Semovar on the way.
Provari Mini in 18650 mode and a Wizard Evolved 2 DNA 30. The Provari is 2 years old and my beater mod. Has worked flawlessly from day one.

whats the diameter of the wizard top cap, 21 or 22mm? I thought I read somewhere the wizard apprentice is a 21mm device?

My tracking still doesn't have any info in it, just that the click-n-ship was created. Just got a russian in the mail, so I'm eagerly awaiting and trying to contain my jealousy.
21 mm. The only thing I don't like about it since I'm a Kayfunner at 22mm.
no kidding hey, wonder what their reasoning was to make it a 21mm mod...
Ya the MB Wizards are 21mm which I find akward since I'm into Kayfuns and I really like a seamless mount. I think they were trying to make it as small as possible. It is the smallest DNA tube out there by far. For me the an extra 1mm would have made me like it more. Rumor is that Mark Bugs is going to release a new topper (21mm) to match their mods but I'm not sure when.
The Futura is awesome. A little bit more substantial (size) than the WAE. Light because of the aluminum. Awesome feel on the cerakote. Craftsmanship on mine is better than I expected.

It can be air dried and I think it normally is done that way since you can buy cerakote directly.
The Futura is aluminum, does that mean it's more prone to scratches vs SS and titanium? I heard the hana modz v3 scratches pretty easily.
Hi all. I received my shipping notice on 3/10. The package has not been delivered to USPS as of 3/13. I've been waiting since late January. Anyone else get a shipping notice with no movement? This has been extremely frustrating.
Yes - I received a personal response on 3/9 after giving Jon from Nexgen a final notice and he said he would get back to me. Next day (3/10) I also received a USPS notification and the state is unchanged. I e-mailed him just now telling him that I want an order status by tomorrow. I can't believe I haven't cancelled the order by now. There must be something wrong with me?
