Let the man work!

In the end what do pictures and video have to do with the product. There are plenty of other devices on plenty of other websites that have little to poor info and pictures.

Jon is trying to get everyone of you a device that you can be proud to own.

Geez

Pictures and videos have a lot to do with the product. I am not dropping a couple of bills on a product I know very little about. Also he hyped this product up pretty good, and has followed through with very little. Now a week later nothing. These little things are what make a business a failure or a success. Jon maybe busy but for the people who did preorder a simple post would help. Luckily I didn't.

It is a bit odd that conversations were being had quite often and then all of a sudden nothing for a week. Open conversions with the maker on a forum makes the ordering and waiting situation more bearable.

I'm also getting worried by this. I know that he's working hard and everything, but posting a "Hello" or even a tiny update once a week would be acceptable for me. I guess that the only thing we can do right now is wait....

I would say that he's probably working on them. Remember, he said he was waiting on parts from suppliers before assembly. He's probably been on because he didn't have anything to do as he was waiting on stuff, now he's got it.

That very well may be the case. I hope it is. But the point is, we don’t know.

In addition to parts acquisition, assembly, testing, and the many other steps of launching a new product, an important task is to keep the people who have given you a vote of confidence by sending money for a sight unseen product some type of update as to what’s going on. The time it takes to post a couple of sentences is minor; the benefits are many.

Sorry for the absence, guys and gals. Just trying to get all these things done and into your patiently waiting hands. We've had a few obstacles to overcome, namely broken CNC machines which take forever to fix. This has happened three times now, right in the middle of parts runs, which means days between start to finish of a particular item. That's mostly accounted for the delay to date. I was naively optimistic in my initial estimates, which would have been accurate had these problems not occurred.

Anyway, things are moving smoothly at the moment. Only thing left is waiting for the paint to dry, and some of the top caps to be completed. Those who ordered black and titanium will be the first to receive units, most likely, since we paint these colors locally. Others should follow shortly. We've learned a lot about production procedures, and we hope to have enough stock on hand so we don't run into these problems again.

Again, my apologies for the continuing delays. Think of us as the ecig version of Obamacare - few glitches at first but everything sorted in the end. Ok, maybe I shouldn't be using that analogy... :)

Jon

Btw, I can always be contacted at info@nexgenvapor.com. I answer each and every inquiry in a very timely manner, so if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to write. However, if you're gonna ask why we don't do this and that more like the Provari, or offer stainless tubes, or usb chargers, etc., feel free to hesitate... :)

Also, a Futura will be on display at Vapercon in Richmond this weekend. Moon Mountain Vapor will have it at their booth - Ridgeway blue. So if you're attending and want to see it in action, give 'em a visit!
