After emailing the above I got this response
" 'll be happy to refund your order. Threats and insults really aren't necessary."

I'll just say, if me being honest about my dealings with your company is considered an insult, you need to take a long hard look at how your doing business.

I repeatedly asked when I could expect to see my refund, finally I got "before 8 am tomorrow", which I half suspect was him being a jerk.

Either way, if you are reading this, you definitely should not spend your money with this company. Period.

Shut up taptalk

I love all the fan mail. This guy's received his refund, as have all who've requested one, and the matter's closed. In fact, he emailed once which, in the deluge of mail I receive daily, I neglected to reply to immediately. That shouldn't have happened - my bad. But occasionally I get tired of the trash talk and respond in a slightly snarky manner. If, in fact, I've offended anyone (other than this person), I apologize. But I do appreciate those who've had uncanny patience with our attempts to get these things done and out the door. Some have waited 3 months for their units, as opposed to three weeks. Takes all types, I suppose.

Jon, last night my Futura tipped over on my desk and it fell down in such a way that the rocker switch fell right against my mouse cord and as a result my adjustment buttons were on permanently. Either it would scroll all the way down to 7w, or all the way up to 20w. it would not 'rest' in the middle. Either one of the dna adjustment switches would be activated or the other.

I was just fuming mad....

Luckily after a few minutes of panic and outrage, I was able to use a small flat screw driver to pry up the rocker on one of the sides and I heard a little click, then it all started working properly again. I am assuming the fall knocked the rocker switch out of its central pivot point and when I gently pried it back up the click was it popping back into its pivot.

I know you don't like my little flush adjustment buttons idea over the rocker switch. But this never would have happened with little flush buttons. No one thinks Mark Bugs is making a Vamo, and they used small flush buttons. Just sayin'.. If you are going to design another model like when the next DNA model is released, Think small flush buttons.

That's hard to explain. Could be a small crack in the housing from the impact. I'll be happy to replace the rocker if you want to send it back.

Just a quick note to explain why some people receive their units out of order: occasionally we'll get a cancellation for an already built Futura; in this case we try to match it up with an identical order which may be further up the queue in order to expedite the overall shipping progress. Don't worry - we're still building as scheduled. 30+ should be going out this weekend.

So how is order #2037 looking Jon? I have tried to not bother you but since they are shipping now I am just curious. Thanks!!

Should be done by the middle of next week. Even though I'm working over Xmas, others aren't so that delays things a bit. I'd say by Thursday for the build.

It's working fine at this point, the rocker isn't loose or anything. I don't believe at this time that it is damaged and I'd rather not go back to using a PWM mod.. So I'll hold on to it for the time being :p

If you don't think the rocker can pop out of it's pivot without being broken, can you show a picture of how the rocker connects to it's pivot point? If it's just a knob on the rocker switch that pops into a divot in the delrin frame like I think it does then I don't think it broke, just popped out.

I'll still with you Jon. Thanks for upping your communication of late and for developing a truly unique mod made for vapers. I'm looking forward to vaping my Futura in the new year and maybe even the v2 :p
Ok merry Christmas to all.

Thanks, CABBA. You'll have it sooner than you think (based on past performance). :)

Pretty sure this is your fault and not the "fans" mate. You listed your item as in stock and gave grossly out range estimates for delivery and you have been shipping out of order (for reasons beyond what you have stated). You obviously took on more than you could chew and now you are complaining about customers who are wanting a refund due to your negligence as a company. This "trash talk" you mention is people voicing their opinions and complaints about your company; and honestly due to the circumstances, i think they have every right to. For you to reply in your "Snarky manner" is just further proof of your inability to handle this business properly.

I am another ...... off customer as you can tell so feel free to give me all the snark you got. I was told by you after months of being given horrible sentiments of hope that my order had indeed shipped last week "I have your order marked as shipped, must have gone out last week" - Did not receive tracking for this so after a week of waiting for it to arrive i emailed you and asked for a tracking number only to be told "I do not have it marked as shipped". I would love an answer as to how and order can go from shipped to not even been made yet.
