Any word on shipping for the Futura yet? Has anyone put hands on this thing? Whats the word?
even though i haven't seen any reviews, i couldn't wait, i'm ordered now. Black, 510 slant, flat cap.
I hope the airflow on flush mounts is well done.
This seems to be a really strong dna-20 tube. Craftsmanship and design looks good. dna-20 is a known commodity. 22mm top cap is important for me.

I do hope y'all get your futura's soon.I ordered one last friday night(as the site had"in stock"listed) then found this thread.I thought "in stock" meant that assembled units were ready to ship.I guess I was wrong.If the first 100 peeps don't have their's in hand yet,then they are not really even in stock,just a bunch of parts waiting to be assembled,then shipped.I just hope they don't drag their feet untill the device is obsolete before any even ship.

I suspect they mass produced a lot more than the first 100 which may have contributed to the lengthy release & would explain a lot & why they would have lifted the 'pre-order' status to 'in stock.' I feel like there was some mention of doing a lot of them to prevent provari-like pauses on availability. I also suspect the pre-orders have been shipped already and the first will hopefully be arriving tomorrow. Granted, these are my unverified suspicions & I'm no sleuth but its what I've concluded based on info left-coast has revealed. That said, don't quote me on anything but don't be surprised if I can say I told ya so either.

well i dont know about that , i am about 5hrs north of jon up in the mountains but the mail up here is always late and i mean really late a buddy sent me a check a while back and it took em 16 days to get here hell i could have walked there and back in 16 days so yeah i would like a tracking # please so my postman can find his ... and i can find his lol

Dude, I love Mount Shasta. Went 5 months ago and loved a coffee shop (Yaks) and their amazing cookies as well as hiking Mount Shasta!
I'm hoping for a little bit of free time next year to hike it again!

I talked to lcv and they said they started shipping yesterday and all the tracking numbers may not have gone out yet. That's awesome. The wait is finally over.

LOL! I have no future either... My #19 and sg-1 showed up though! The best part is that it works with the KFL! Hybrid Kayfun rocking out!

*Update*

Ok, folks, here's the latest update: we will begin shipping next week. First units to go out will be to those on the initial 100 list who chose black or titanium with contoured or inclined caps. Then we'll ship to all others who selected these colors and options. Additional colors will begin shipping within a few days of the first wave, as well as the blacks and titaniums with the 510-only caps. The long, long, long wait is finally over. Almost. It's been a tough slog but there's a bright light at the end of this tunnel - The Futura. Thanks for your unbelievable patience!
