If you use Pp make no mention of ecig period and use goods and services or just use one of the many others, but it is still a good idea not to mention ecig as we have a huge target on us. Other avenues Google wallet pop money or just the check is in the mail.

Vendors can simply add the 3% PP fee, and just instruct buyers not to mention ecigz. I made more purchases than I can remember with PP without a problem.

I think CH's issues had a lot to do with many of his orders were being done friends and family and PP got annoyed that they weren't getting their piece of the pie

To Paul:
If you do decide to use PP do yourself a huge favor; send invoices and do not accept friends and family, f&F is a red flag once you pass $10k in a month but with the spotlight we are currently under that number may change.

One more tip: Do not post your PayPal email address and "PayPal" in the same post (anywhere on the Internet). At that point you become easily searchable by even the most inept PayPal employee. That's ultimately how I was discovered.

Tobacco products (including e-cigs) is against their TOS. Especially interstate commerce and/or via online purchasing it seems.

Despite the fact that they randomly cherry pick who they'll enforce upon and that they seem to favor their eBay sellers that are smart enough not to use the terms that directly translate to "e-cigarette".

It's a crap shoot.

And with the FDA already released ruling the legality will be a litigation hot bed.

When shipments were being seized at customs with no chance of release and PP balances were being frozen seemingly on a whim.

If I were selling my e-cig product, I'd treat my PP as terror code red.

As a buyer, worst I'd consider would be not having buyer protection through PP.

Though there have been a (very) few cases where the seller didn't receive the payment and didn't ship the goods despite the payment being sent. Presumably lost in limbo when the sellers account was frozen.

So I guess that's also a possibility.

Again, though... I'll pay however Paul wishes. I'm assuming he is taking the risk. Once my money is sent, I expect my product is on its way.

For the record, neither Peter nor Rob used f&f that I know of.

Peter now won't use PP and Rob once threatened to do the same. I believe even had it up on his site at checkout. IIRC, my last small parts order, I was forced to use a CC. Though not 100% sure I recall that correctly, only 99%.

It is against ECF rules to post PM...but disproving is not my intention or goal, stopping misinformation is...point being your statements can be useful as a pm to Paul as he is the only one to make the decision and has stated he has.
The use of the term terror is abhorrent..used to envoke an emotional reaction rather than a critical response.
I have no issue with topic discussed, but do take issue with the absolutist manner in which you present your position on the subject.

I did not use the term terror. I referred to the terror alert code red. Which, in my travels I encounter quite often.

This emotional response to what seems to be a threat to your favorite payment method is completely distasteful and quite frankly, selfish and ridiculous.

Paul seems to be a very reasonable guy.

If for whatever reason, a person refuses to set up alternative means... or even fears doing so... I'm sure he'll be accommodating.

For that reason... and because we want what he has... it would only be decent of the rest of us to put him at as little risk as possible.

Considering he's thinking of putting out an atty soon too, it would be in our best interest to allow him to mitigate his risk as much as possible.

In my case PayPal doesn't allow f&f from my country so I have to add 3% to cover PP fees. But I've never mentioned ecigz in PP and all transactions went smoothly. Lately PP requires the buyer to mark the goods as received before the money is released to the seller (I think it takes around 2 or 3 days to release the money).

Man sells mod, gets paid how he likes. i'd have though bickering over Paypal or Google wallet just goes to show that the more payment options there are the better, especially if you consider what will be going on this August.

i'll add personal cheque, money order, Western Union (i used to send HRH money, basically bribing her ) to the mix.
