For all those who have the griffing ...do you leave the fill hole without the screw or do you put the screw on after fillin it up... And if you put it back on , do you have wicking issues? Cos when I leave it on it won't wick that good " get dry burns a lot " but when I take it off it wicks ok ... Do have the same issue?

No dry hits for me. I leave the fill screw in, but my wick is hollow & slightly undersized for its hole. I imagine I get pressure equalization that way.

Tryed one like urs .. An undersized wick nowts ok ...and I had a wee HOT SPOT TOO so it was my fault ... Great vape out of this ... Same as the real Greek one 100% " difference a bit more fidily with the screws cos its smaller ....

Hi... Had the same prob my self ..... First make a slim wick and oxy very well !! Then put a cigarette rolling paper where the coil is gonna come " small piece " wrap the coil " you can make it before you put it in place" ... Then secure it ... And don't put juice in ... But pulse it on 3v to check for HOT SPOTS ." pain in the arrrssss believe me with every rebuild out there... But paper should minimize them alot .... .. I went throu this 3 times but now is STELLER MATE

Would love to see optional caps. I find the 1mm a bit tight, and the new 1.5mm just a tad airy but pretty close to just right. The loose draw is something I had gotten use to with the CE3's. Took a while to get use to after months of pulling on CE4's.

I drilled the first one with the 1mm hole to 1/16". Way to loose for my liking. So I just went ahead and drilled another hole just below the other one, covered both with a small piece of foil tape, and used a large sewing needle to get the air-flow just right. Double barrel hole makes the wick heat up evenly from top to bottom. Works exceedingly well with a 6 wrap twine wick.

Do note those are different kinds of mesh. The Mesh Co is plain, the eBay link is twill weave.

Is there a difference? Yes.

The plain:

Wire Diameter: 0.025mm
Aperture: 0.039mm - this is the hole size and it is square
Open Area %: 36.8%

The twill:

Wire Diameter:0.0305 mm (0.0012")
Opening Size: 0.03 mm (0.0013")
Open Area Percentage: 27 %

I can't find the thread where i read it just the other day, it was in one of the "expensive" atty/tank threads, but someone took a small strip of aluminum from a soft drink can cut it a bit shorter than the cap and a tad shorter than the circumference and slid it into the cap. Then they punched/poked 2 different, but smaller, holes into the strip from the outside. Now they can adjust the draw to match the juice they were vaping.

HTH!

You should look into these A7s.

Bottom feeder friendly. and easy to re-wick the way they come apart.

Eric I had a 3/64" bit and it is perfect for me. I believe that converts to 1.2 mm in round numbers. The 1.5 mm is pretty airy, but hey a little tape and a needle as Big Screen D suggests you can create what you need with the larger hole. Just got to find the right tape for color! Foil sounds Great!:)

I have that exact page on the catalog open in a new window :)
It's pure stainless also :)

Yes please!!!

edit: stainless... not quite :eek:ops you're right, Material: pure stainless steel(also could plated cooper)

I love these translation mistakes:
3.Huge smog experience,No leaking. (smog? hahahaha)
3. the positive pole can be adjustable, to match with 510 or ego battery, let it more perfect.
