I've been thinking about this one for a while now. I recieved Clone Wars Jedi Lightsaber Battles for Christmas.(Wii) Along with it came a pair of "Thrustmaster" lightsabers. I used them with the game for a while but the balance is wrong and torques your wrist. So I hung them on the wall for a while.
The other day I tore one of them appart. The have a quick lock blade, so I tore the quick connector appart and removed the blade, (bunch of red leds to add to my modding parts).
I found a fender washer just big enough to fit in the tip, with a hole the right size for the 510 connector, and presto.
You could make two of them out of a pair of the lightsabers or you can make one that can be a lightsaber or a PV. I rewired the battery compartment to take a single 3.7v 14500 protected battery, and converted the other slot (for 2 batts) into storage that will hold two 510 attys with carts.
