I love my x2 and use it in the car for my long commute....but it would be really nice if SI sold replacement caps for those of us that lose them too easily

Is the manual battery supposed to light up on the button or the by the pass through when it charges? I just got mine in the mail, but it's not lighting up while plugged in. I was wondering which area I should focus my jedi mind powers on...
It should light when charging. I had an auto with the same problem and got it replaced. Contact CS.
I did shoot them an email. They said they're willing to replace it when they get more in stock. I'm not sure why I was worried. I've had to contact customer service once before and they were super nice. Other than the missing light, it's been working out nicely. I adjusted to having a button quicker than I thought I would. I used to hit the cutoff on my big auto battery all the time, not a problem now!
I use one of these knitting needle storage tube
and it works great. I use it to keep my batt and clearo in my purse, and when I am in the car, I use one end of it in a cup holder to keep it upright. Love it.
ETA: At $5.50 for 4 of them you can't beat the price.
I'm having the same issue with the automatic 1300. The light would not come on when plugged in when I first tried it out. I've run it dead and the light still doesn't come on and the pass-through doesn't work.Hmmm... I've been puffing on it for a couple of hours, but there's still no charging light when I plugged it in. I think I'll run it dead and then see what happens. But I did have a friend come over and visit and they thought it was a flute... LOL. I'm going to start calling it my piccolo.

I was talking to Heather on the livechat yesterday and she suggested running it dead and then trying to charge it. Sadly that didn't work. I just sent a message to CS though. Thanks, and I really appreciate the great customer service!Seabs sorry for the issue. Please just contact CS and they will take care of it ASAP. We have worked hard to eliminate these issues.
And the good news is, my automatic 1300 has been working like a charm since the day I received it. I'm so in love with this thing.

I do really like the X2 battery otherwise though. Even on the partial charge it came with it lasted me a day and a half.
