Little history I have smoked (pack and a half) for 40 +years mainly menthols ending with Salem Ultra Light 100s. Which were getting harder to find where we shop. I was actually surfing the web when I found this site quite by accident about a month ago. Being curious I read many of the submissions and became curious about this e-cig thing. The first e-cig I order was from Smoke51 ($10.00 shipping) being the cheap SOB that I am to test this out. But after reading more articles I came across V4L and 2 days later bought the Ultimate package. It came 4 days later.
I was quite surprised at how easy it was to switch to e-cigs it has been a month and I am down to 1 cigarette a day and I have no doubt that I will stop smoking cigarette but will bide my time. I have been using the V4L for a month now and finally the Smoke51 showed up. I tried it and I have to say that if I did it first before V4L I never would have switched to e-cigs. The taste was god awful and I could not get a puff with out getting liquid in my mouth, when I was able to get any vapor at all. The box is pretty though and for $10.00 it was a good lesson.
It took me awhile to find my flavors and I am glad that Steve is going to do the Snak-Pak as it helps the beginners like me find a flavor that works. What surprised me the most was the flavors that I liked were not tobacco flavors. I love mint, chocolate, grape, pina-colada and margarita. It also took me awhile to find the right strength. I though smoking Ultra Light that I should start with the low but the urge to smoke was still there. I have since moved to High (18 or 24) and this works quite well during the day while working and at night using 6/8.
Any way just wanted to share my story as so many others have done and to say Thanks to all the submitters and to V4L for the advice, opinions and product.
