Hey guys

I'm running a 3.5ohm io6 at 5-6v on my lavatube.

I'm getting rather "thin" vapor throughout the range. I even tried debridging and dewicking. It helped a little bit, but I'm not really getting "clouds and plumes"

It's almost like the vapor is lightweight compared to my old 306.

The atty seems to gurgle a lot as well. Does anyone have a possible fix?

This is a replacement that Isaac sent me, and after modding it, I definitely won't ask for a replacement.

Blow it out with DT still attached, add 4 drops and give it whirl. If dry add 1 drop, give it a toot, if still too dry give it another and so on and so forth. Since it has been de-wicked and debridged you are going to find it difficult to find the balance between just right, dry and flooded. IMHO the person who invented de-bridging should be shot. :D The bridge is part of the main wicking system which is the SS mesh and not the fiberglass wick perse.

The thing is, with my bridge and wick the atty wouldn't wick fast enough to keep up with the coil, and I wasn't chain vaping either. I wouldn't get much vapor out of it at all.

After debridging and dewicking, it's actually hitting the coil, just not "enough".

My old 306 got the same treatment after the wick slowed down, and it was golden for about 4 months before vapor dropoff.

And I've been blowing thing thing out like crazy, I just can't win...lol

Double check your ceramic cup. I've only tried to debridge two of them (one three days ago due to having wicking problems myself) and each time the ceramic cup fractures on either the left or right side. If it did the same for you, juice is going to run out that side of the ceramic cup and you'll have no luck in getting it to vape correctly.

How is the draw on the atty?

The draw seems to be fine, not very tight or loose. I don't really see any damage to the cup, but I do have to take "empty primer puffs" once every few hits to use up the gurgling juice.

As for voltage, I'm not sure. I don't own a meter. I do know that its not kicking hard enough on a freshly charged battery though.

I just received 2 2.5 ohm i06's from ecigcharleston today, 1 of which seems to be working perfectly, and the other one has an impossibly tight draw. Any idea what could be causing the issue with the tight one? From the first attempt with it it was immediately airtight.

Check the air passage holes (I can't think of their official name) and make sure there is nothing blocking them. If there is sealant it's DOA... or part of the silicone bushing (separates positive terminal from negative threading) then you can try to pull the positive post out a little (less then 1mm!) and try to re-seat it in the silicone bushing.
