I bought an ipv 1 35 watt box mod about a week ago and a Kanger Subtank to use on it. I also had to order a new battery which took an extra couple of days. When I finally got everything together and ready to go, I filled up the subtank with some juice and tried firing it up. Of course with my luck the mod decided to just shut off. Since I'm new to vaping, I'm not sure if this is a problem with the mod or with the subtank. Has anyone else had any similar problems. Any and all help is appreciated, thanks.

What is the Limit to how low of Ohms your IPV 30 will run? Do that reasearch. Then look at the ohms your running on your subtank coil. It could Be that The ohms are too LOW for your device's limit. Therefore shutting it down. I'm not familiar with the IPV 30 however I have a IPV 150 and it allows a Sub Ohm down to .1. I also have a IPV 2 75 watt that allows a Sub Ohm of down to .3. But I'm not sure as I said about the IPV 30. I would look into the Specs and see if the limit might be what's causing the issue. Hope this helps. Best wishes

Nog, I'll save the OP the research as it's 0.3 ohm. :)

That's the 1st thought that went through my head too, so you're in terrible company. I know some of the V2s would just randomly turn themselves off... OH...

...OP consider disabling the touch sensor by holding down the - and power buttons. On the IPV2, that being on seemed to be what'd trigger it randomly turning itself off.

The ipv1 has the touch sensor but it isn't wired, so it won't work. Unless they have changed as I bought my ipv1 when they first came out. I have had mine turn itself off, but only because of the battery losing connection temporarily. I'm guessing that was it cause it happens if I drop it or it falls over and then I can turn it back on. Anyway we would need a few more details, but it can definitely run the subtank.
