IPV 35w and 50w box mods

Back on topic to the highest capacity battery for this. Let's call the vtc5 an 1800mAh battery, since it can't be fully discharged used with our ipv's.

We need a 20Amp rated battery...logically, a 20Amp continuous rated battery probably won't sag when under a 20Amp load..

I'm afraid that isn't how amp ratings work...lion or hybrid batteries have some voltage sag under load regardless of what load, and more current means higher sag.

I bought Samsung 25Rs for my IPV2, and they're sitting here on my desk waiting for a box to put them in.

I know we haven't discovered a 100% efficient form of electricity..in terms of energy loss in circuit. Edit-I think sagging with batteries is excessive loss from being pushed too far, or being old.

Sorry, for some reason I had a mind-F going on..:/ all batteries discharge to 2.5Volts.. I don't know why I was going on about that..forget please.

so the SX330 max input current is 20A, so will it be safe to use 20A batteries ?

If that is the case, I will go for Efest Purple IMR 18650 3100mAh 20A on ebay.
if not, probably will be the Efest IMR 18650 2500mAH 35A.

any suggestion/comment about ?

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm trying to figure out what the actual cell is under the efest wrapper before I say that is a good option.

Edit-i think the 35Amp efests are the LG 35Amp

Hope they take care of you , i wouldn't be surprised if one of them say this is not covered under warranty , it's user error , too much force with wrong screwdriver , that would suck . Does the body feel cheap and thin ?

Sorry to sidetrack the battery talk which is super helpful by the way, but has anybody had a Silver IPV ship from Elev8, if so what order number?

I went ahead and ordered a VTC5 but if it comes up that the 3100mah Efest will perform as needed I will probably get one to add to the collection.

Also, highly considering doing a magnet swap with the screws but I don't really have a lot of skill doing such crafts so I'm hoping I don't butcher it as I usually do. Either way I kinda want the Sigeleu 100w since it harnesses two 18650s, don't need that power, and wouldn't upgrade so soon but the IPV is essential because my 10 month old SVD slowly continues to crap out.

If you guys want to find the Battery amp load (which is much higher than amps at the atomizer. And amps get higher as the battery volts decrease during discharge). Plug in your numbers here to see if your battery will be safe.

Most atty post screws will work. I didn't get the extras included in my package like others have gotten. So I used extra screws from my fogger v4+.

Not sure how to find out how it continues to charge. All I know is after it is charged the red led goes out. Came home after 6 hrs and the battery was full.
