I must have been ......ed then. Lemme watch that again.

That aside, to those who have the ipv in hand, can it work as a pass through? Aka what chesty is asking.

I've been vaping while charging it UNTIL I heard from video reviews in the "tips" section of the manual it says to not do that. So I stopped haha. But for the week I was doing that, everything was working perfect. Nothing was getting hot, etc.

I have tried taking battery out and also the USB charge port. USB is obviously a slower charge. I have tried to vape plugged in to usb. It works but not advised. (Plus the cable they sent is midget sized.)
Touch fire can be disabled.
I suggest you carefully choose your VV/VW settings for coil and juice as this beast fires fast and hot. Google vape chart 3.0 for help.

"can i ask some of you owners of the IPV, the bottom line....are you satisfied with your purchase?....."

i own a Cloupor and i'm still on the fence here about purchasing an IPV and i sure do not like charging thru the USB & also a dripping fool between 0.6 to 0.8....help me out here with the bottom line.

major reason for purchase is for back-up & upgrade, thanks!

Definitely satisfied with mine. Not even particularly concerned that I got an early batch that can't disable the touch fire.

Right now I have a .4 ohm dripper on and love it. Rocking at 35w.
Battery life with a VTC5 seems good. Just starting my first work day with it. I can vape at my desk so we shall see how the battery holds up.

I just caught up on the last few pages on this thread...

So, is it confirmed that Fluidvapes got the first batch and that the touch fire cant be disabled?

Also for those who ordered from elev8: did you receive yours yet? and can you disable the touch fire? I should be receiving mine from elev8 this saturday if the tracking is right.

I have been following this thread diligently and am looking forward to getting one soon.
A few questions:
-what was the fully dead to completely charged time via USB?
-can you use a different micro usb cable to charge it? (e.g. my gs3 car charger?)
-I heard that (initially at least) the screws were hard to get out. Can you swap the battery on the go pretty easy after a few openings?
-I have read about the 'no passthrough', but is there any way to bypass it, and if not what do you risk damaging in the device if you use it while charging?

Thanks for any answers from you guys who own these already...quite jealous!
