Mechanisms are mechanisms. If they don’t work there is a reason. There should be a progression of actions that take place to pump the juice.
The board signals the pump which pumps the liquid which flows into the atty. something is wrong somewhere.
@oldude 61 ‘s point about the squonk pin fits with that. If there’s no hole in the pin to feed the juice nothing will happen. It’s quite common for “squonk” RDAs to come with both a squonk and non squonk pin and often the non squonk pin is the one that comes inserted and will need to be changed out.

This is an awesome device, I love it for when I’m away from home. It’s super tiny with great flavor and no leaks.
I’d suggest trying to suck juice out to see if that works. Maybe there is a clog in the line and that will flush it out. Drip some juice in the ada so it has something to suck. Beyond that I’d say just get a refund or swap. Best of luck to you.
