I recently picked up an pioneer4you IPV D3, and I'm a bit confusing about how it's functioning. I'm using a Herakles Plus tank with the 0.4ohm coil in it. I have the D3 mod set to around 50-55 watts most of the time. As the battery starts to drain lower and lower, the vaper production and vape experience gets less and less.... Yet the wattage setting is still set to the same. It basically acts just like a unregulated mech mod were the power to the atty dies off as the battery drains. I'm not sure what the deal is. Once it gets to a level (no matter what the wattage I have it set to) were the vape is weak, I change the battery (just like with a mech).

I have a kanger subbox mini and once I set the wattage, it stays set and produces the proper amount of power expected from that wattage setting until it tells me to change the battery; like the entire point of a regulated mod is.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, or what the deal is with this IPV D3... But something ain't right. I could use some serious help because this is driving me crazy.

That's exactly what mines doing. All the sudden, the 55 watts that was making warm and massive clouds isn't doing much at all. I'm having to take super long drags to get a even okay hit. But the mod still states it's at 55 watts and pushing 4.74 volts. Then I'll pop in a new battery, and all the sudden I'm back to vaping like a champ with the exact same settings.

I'm wondering what the difference between a regulated mod and unregulated mod at this point is if they basically function the same.

I don't get it.
