No clearomizer tank will be able to handle anywhere near 150 watts, I can't imagine any rebuildable tank getting there either. I received the iPV3 update to 165 watts, and built a Stillare RDA to handle the full output...it's a 22ga sleeper coil build at .14 ohms. If I fire it at 165 watts, it's hot as all hell but will not burn if adequately wicked and juiced. I only pull that out for showing off though, no way I could vape that hot for any length of time.

They sell stratos tanks that go up to 2.0-2.4, what do you think that would be able to reach? I really just wanna get as close as I can. I've never built a coil, so I'll probably suck at it. What do you suggest I do?

The only reason I built something to reach the full wattage potential of the iPV3 was just for kicks. It's not a very good vape. Also, building your own coils is currently the only way you can pull it off. Due to the voltage limitations of the iPV3, you need resistance of .33 ohms or lower to actually get the full 150 watt output.

On a non-rebuildable tank with 2.0-2.4 ohm coils, I would think anything above 7-10 watts would result in some nasty, burnt flavors. There's no reason you can't still use an iPV3 with that kind of setup...in fact, you'd get incredible battery life. If you don't want to get into rebuilding, maybe check out the Aspire Atlantis clearo. I hear they are super, but you'd still get nowhere close to 150 watts (supposedly they like around 30-40).

I know this is an old post but someone needed to react to the OP's post more dramatically ( my two cents )
I mean really that question was ludicrous and no offense intended to the OP, it's just that questions like that clearly indicate a need for knowledge and
guidance, could you see this guy placing some dripper atty or a clearomizer on his fresh new IPV3 and firing it up at 150 and inhaling deep

I mean really there's some kid on your tube reviewing e juice companys and Mech mods that looks all of 12 years old.. OK some of his other videos show him driving so maybe hes 16 - 17 but still even if he's using Nic percent 0 that's just wrong ,, again just my 2 cents...

I also have the ipv3 and on my mutation x v2 rda I never go above 50 at the most. Also have Atlantis tank and 35 is the limit and kanger subtank at 20 watts. Anything higher it's too much for me

I'm also rocking my ipv with the mutation and have to basically agree with you here. I'm running a .4 and anything over 80w is not a great vape for more than 1/2 second pulls. I keep mine around 55w with this build.
