They won't get any more of my money.

I prefer the alien anyway
How long have you had one? Is there any paint peeling off? I wanted to get one but between the pre-order debacle and reports of peeling paint I decided to wait.

The Alien? A month or so. No paint peeling. Still misfires sometimes, but I love the size. I want a squonk mod I that size.

Not for me once I did the update, early reports on the Alien seem very positive from what I have seen :)

I sold my IPV 6X a month ago because I just didn't like the form factor and all the problems, especially with TC. I picked up an IPV 8 yesterday and I am pretty happy with it so far. The materials used seem much better and sturdier and the overall look and feel of the device improved. I haven't had any issues with the battery door or TC so far so I am happy, and I just love the small size of the IPV 6 and 8 devices for their price.

I bought an IPV 6x right away and I was so disappointed with it that I took the leap to the DNA mods and probably won't look back. No more IPV garbage for this guy :)

I am vaping on an IPV 8 alongside a Finder DNA200 and I must say I love the form factor and size of the IPV much more. When I have enough money, I'm probably going for a Vaporshark Mini or HCigar Nano because I'm kind of into smaller mods nowadays.

Got the cuboid 200..nice..little heavy. 3 batteries. Same size as vaporshark 133..needless to say, I don't have to charge it for a few days..it's a home device..lol

Just to settle my own curiosity, can someone please confirm if the ipv6x is firmware upgradable or not? Some say it is, some say it isn't.
It's not upgradeable. The data traces on the usb port are not soldered (the Djlsb vapes review).

As I suspected. It's amazing how many reviews and listings say it is. It's also amazing that P4U, who have already released mods with upgradable firmware, would release a mod without this feature.

I just bought a 6x yesterday since Vapor beast had them on sale. I should have checked this thread first. This will be my first Yihi device, having only used joyetech and eleaf before. I'm going to use it to unfairly judge every piece of equipment Yihi manufacturers, so I hope I get a good one. [emoji23]
