Irish Cream - delicious, but does anyone think this tastes nothing like Irish Cream? lol

So, a couple months ago or so I decided to get some Boba's Bounty to see what all the fuss was about (and I enjoyed it a lot).

I tacked on an order of Irish Cream, because I am always looking for a good flavor to mix with my coffee vape.

Got it, tried it, didn't like it. Steeped it a week or two, still didn't like it. Maybe tasted like a pina colada? Definitely tasted coconut and pineapple in there, but over done. Not really my kind of vape. And really awful mixed with my favorite coffee juice!

Put it in a drawer to save it for…whatever.

Tested a new dripper build a couple days ago, and brought it out as a "cannon fodder" vape (I wouldn't cry if it got trashed). To my surprise, it was much more delicious than I remember it being (maybe because it wasn't mixed with coffee…just kidding, lol!). So much so that I ordered more during this last sale.

The closest I can describe is that it maybe tastes like a Painkiller-type cocktail. Coconut, tropical fruit (pineapple? orange?), spices (maybe nutmeg?), maybe rum?…I dunno. But it made for a really rich, refreshing, and surprisingly complex vape. Haven't tasted anything like it.

Great as it may be now (couple month steep might have been a requirement?), it still doesn't taste, to me, anything at all like Irish Cream.

Anyone else have this experience?

I'm also wondering if somehow my order got mixed up. The bottle said Irish Cream, but when i poked around on the internet, the few reviews I found made no reference to ANY of the flavors I was tasting, which seemed odd, as they were bash-you-in-the-teeth prominent with only a week steeping.

The only reason I didn't order more of it in my last order is that I'm now afraid that it WILL taste like Irish Cream, and what I want is that original flavor! Interested to see what comes in my vape mail…

Oddly enough, earlier today I ordered some Boba's Bounty, and tacked on a first time order of Irish Cream. I'm hoping it does taste like Irish Cream and goes well with my coffee. We'll see I guess.
